Chapter 11

"Bakit ka andito?" I asked, following his gaze that were roaming around my body.

Bahagyang napaawang ang kanyang bibig at ginulo ang kanyang buhok, "I saw that the lights were open from outside."

Napatango naman ako, "So?"

Napairap sya sa aking sinaad, "I wanted to train, Flare," he said as he walked passed me, lowering his body which made his cheek lightly brush across me.

My body stiffened. It was like I was caught off guard by him, as if I did something wrong. There was something with him calling me by my name that made me feel the warmth that I was looking for. His face met with mine. He was holding my scythe one handedly that fell a while ago, it seemed that the weapon was as light as a feather to him. I was about to get it from his hands when he moved the weapon closer to him.

"Follow me," he commanded.

Without asking any questions, I followed him while keeping my distance from his back. I tried reading his mind but his thoughts were blank.

"Ito ang daan na papuntang dorm namin ah," napansin ko nang makita ko ang pamilyar na balkonahe sa gilid ng aking mata.

Biglang tumigil sa paglalakad si Reve at humarap sa'kin bahagyang nag-iisip. Akmang tatanungin ko muli siya ngunit bigla siya tumalikod muli at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad hanggang sa malagpasan ang dorm namin.

"Reve, kailangan ko nang bumalik mapapagalitan tayo ng headmistress," pilit na saad ko habang nakikita na sya na naglalakad na palayo sa'kin.

"Do you have medicine in your dorm?" He asked still looking ahead. He's still concerned?

"I don't," sabi ko.

Humarap sya sa aking direksyon, "Meron ako sa dorm," tipid na sabi niya.

"So? Share mo lang?"

"Stop asking senseless questions. Your wounds need to be treated," and with that he continued walking while I was tailing at his back like a good dog to his master. Why do I always feel like I have to follow him?

The moon was crescent tonight. The cold breeze brushed across my face. I looked up the dark night sky as I saw the clouds that was seemingly following us as we walk. I looked at Reve's back and saw the his hair was dishevelled from the wind, He didn't seem to care because he didn't even attempt to  fix it. He just came out of the hospital yet he looked as if he wasn't in pain even though his bruises were still evident.

We arrived at the boy's dormitory. The wide building towered above us. It was surely bigger than where we were staying since they have a larger population here in Clandestine Academy, it was also grand and was well lit up.

"Will we not get caught?" I asked as we walked inside. Our footsteps echoed and nobody was there as we were walking.

"Hindi tayo mahuhuli kung walang makakakita," saad niya. Naiisip ko na kung paano ang pagkunot ng kaniyang noo sabay ng pag-irap nya habang sumasagot sa'kin, "Always noisy," dagdag pa niya.
