We find some transportation

I was sucked out of my thoughts by being tackled.

I fell to the ground with a yelp. Looking up I saw black fur, and yellow fangs. A hellhound was trying to claw my face off, only 20 minuets in. Well that's great.

I thrashed and kicked, screaming. I could see Leo standing stunned and screamed at him, snapping him out of it.

He made a ball of fire and chucked it at the hellhound. It yelped as the fire touched it's fur. It jumped off of me, and turned to Leo growling.

Leo stepped back, tripping over a rock. He fell back landing hard on the ground. The hellhound stood over him. I quickly scrambled to my feet. I picked up a nearby rock, throwing it at the animal. It turned to me, looking angry.

I stumbled and almost fell but caught myself. Pain shot up from my left leg and I started feeling light-headed as the hellhound approached me growling, barring it's teeth. I had just started accepting my death, when a blur of black came between us.

"Shadow! What are you doing?" I yelled to the black skeletal horse now standing between me and the old hellhound. The old hellhound just took this as a challenge and charged Shadow. Shadow must have expected this, as he just leapt onto him in a fury of hooves. He dodged the claws and teeth managing to plant his hoof on the hounds back, forcing it to the ground. But just as it hit the ground, it burst into a golden powder.

"Ehem" Leo said, finally standing. "I'm glad your friend came and helped, but we should be going"

"We can't 'be going' without transportation, and I think we just found it" I smiled at Shadow, stroking his white hair.

Riding on a running skeletal horse is as easy as it sounds.

We road along on Shadow, holding on for dear life, while he bounded happily over the hills.

I tried not to breathe because, as you can imagine, Shadow doesn't smell to great. He smelt like the Fields of Punishment, with burning grass. And that's the less disgusting description.

All of a sudden, Shadow changed direction and headed strait for a tree.

"Hey..ah... I think your horse is gonna need some redirecting!" Leo yelled over the wind, worried. I nodded, replying with a simple,"murph" as I was practically eating Shadows hair- which tasted as bad as it smelt.

I tried yelling at Shadow as we neared the tree, but that didn't help much so I started pulling on his main. I yanked and pulled his hair to the right. He just kept running. I gave up and braced myself for impact.

It never came.

Instead I felt a weird turning inside my stomach and whispers filling my ears, sending shivers down my spine. I opened my eyes to see nothing but black surrounding.
