The Half to my Whole

Chapter 2

Jennie's POV

Seoul, South Korea

3:50 PM

      Leo scoffed, "I can't believe it! Here I am completely innocent with a hurt junior, which I'm now not sure if it's freaking capable of producing or using and you don't even fucking apologize!"

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Well it's not my fault either!! How the hell should I know that you're in the bathroom!?"

Well it's technically not my fault either, how am I supposed to know that Lisa's brother is in the bathroom!? When we arrived we saw an unfamiliar shoes near the entrance and we thought it was our manager's shoes that he accidentally forgot to bring it it back with him. Lisa was nowhere in sight so we just thought that she was sleeping. I went to the bathroom to wash my face but I was instead, greeted by someone else.

"Don't you know how to knock!? I'm pretty sure my sister informed all of you guys that I'm coming here." Leo argued back.

"Oh yeah, Lisa did say that her brother's  gonna visit us here on Wednesday." Chaeyoung interjects.

Leo glares at me as if saying 'see!', I rolled my eyes at him, " Lisa didn't technically say what time he's coming and that his brother is in the bathroom" 

We all look at Lisa who raises her arms in guilt then grinned, "Sorry, I was in my room listening to music, so I didn't hear you guys coming back and I also forgot to text you guys that Leo was already here,"

We all sigh at Lisa's carelessness,"Okay to make the long story short, it was Lisa's fault because she didn't inform us that Leo was in the bathroom," Jisoo interjects then trails off her gaze from Lisa to me, "and Jennie, apologize to Leo. It wasn't his fault, it was his sister's carelessness." 

"Wha-" I was about to protest.

"Now." Jisoo demanded and I sigh in defeat. I look at Leo who meets my gaze, now that I look closer he is quite handsome, like a boy version of Lisa. The same big eyes as her sister, porcelain skin, the familiar plump lips and small nose.  "Leo, I'm sorry that I kicked you in the nuts and that I thought you were a pervert." 

Leo nods and diverts his attention to his now cold ramen. I then look at Chaeyoung who's trying to stifle a chuckle from what I said then calms down after awhile.

"Alright, now that all is settled. It's nice to finally meet you Leo, I'm Park Chaeyoung also known as Rosé but just call me Chaeng or just Rosie" Rosie smiled and shakes her hands with Leo, 

"Nice to meet you too."

"I'm Jisoo, I am the oldest of the bunch." Jisoo grinned who also shakes hands with Leo.

 "And I'm Jen-".

 "Jennie" Leo interjects then smirks at me. I just an raise eyebrow.

"Okay, I just have to say this," we all look at Chaeyoung, "Leo you're like a boy version of Lisa."

A knowing smirk forms on Lisa's lips and Leo just raised his eyebrow in amusement. "True." Jisoo agreed.  "We were mistaken as twins back then and even now so I don't blame you." Leo answers with the same knowing smirk as his sister.

"So what do you do Leo?" Jisoo asks, taking a sip from her soda.

"I do modelling, dancing,parkour, taekwondo and cooking but mainly modelling and dancing and also, I'm a better cook than my sister here, who burns almost everything." Leo smirked and pinched Lisa's cheek teasingly which earned him a glare from her sister.

"Oh that's cool. I see you inherit the dancer gene from her and I completely agree with you with Lisa burning almost everything." Jisoo chuckles then nods approvingly, she looks at me knowingly. 

What now!?  

"Don't you have anything to ask Jennie?"

Why should I ask him? I'm not particularly curious about him anyway. I was about to say nothing when I catch him looking at me, intrigued. Wait intrigued...why is he intrigued? 

"How old are you?" I asked him, successfully hiding my surprise when I unconsciously said it.

He raised his eyebrow, "20 years old."

Okay I swear, his hobby is raising his eyebrows. "Oh wow you're young yet you're this tall. How tall are you?" Chaeyoung asked.

"5'11" he answered simply. "Okay I swear you guys are playing twenty-twenty questions." Lisa interjects, chuckling.

"You can't blame us , we are really curious about Leo, since you don't show us any pictures of him and you only tell stories about him when you feel like it!" Jisoo huffs dramatically earning a laugh from everyone in the room except me. I look at Leo who was wholeheartedly laughing. That laugh is like music to my ears and I don't know why. Maybe because his laugh is like Lisa's... very contagious. 

Feeling my stare, Leo stops laughing and turns around and meets my gaze. After a few minutes of the heated staring contest, a cough from one of the girls snaps me back to reality from the trance. I quickly look away diverting my attention to the other girls who were now making corny jokes. I see Leo furrowing his eyebrows at me at the corner of my eye. 

"By the way Leo do you have any plans for tomorrow?" Jisoo asks, my eyebrows raise automatically, quietly listening to their conversation while drinking my tea.

"No, I'm completely free tomorrow, why? Leo asks, shifting his position to sit a bit more comfortably.

"Why don't you go with us tomorrow to Busan?" Jisoo suggests excitedly and I choke on my tea and quickly cough.  Chaeyoung pats my back and worried asks if I'm okay, I quickly nod.

"That's a good idea, we have a shooting for a magazine tomorrow. We're planning to visit some cool places after the shoot and at the same time we can tour you around." Lisa agrees enthusiastically and I look at Leo who steals a quick glance at me then looks back at the girls and smiles.

 "Sure if that's fine with you guys."

I mentally groan. This is gonna be one hell of a day tomorrow.

Busan, South Korea

8:15 AM

     We just arrived in the place for our magazine photoshoot. I look at Leo who is with Lisa in which she's feeding him M&M's. The director calls us in which we comply, "Girls it's nice to meet you. I'm director Kang Jae Beom." he greeted us as he bows his head, we all bow our heads as well.

 "It's nice to meet you too director Kang we're Blackpink.", we all response in unison. He nod his head in approval. 

"Uhm, director can my little brother stay and watch the photoshoot?" Lisa asks the director, hopefully. 

 Director Kang furrows his eyebrows, "Brother?" 

Lisa turns around and waves at his brother, signaling him to come. Leo walks towards us we moved a bit for Leo to come between Lisa and Chaeng, making him dead center. Leo looks at the the director and gives him a charming business smile and bows his head slightly,  "Hello director my name is Leo, I'm Lisa's brother and I hope you would allow me to stay and watch their photoshoot."

The director seems to be a bit startled and looks up at Leo, amazed by his height and visual. He then smiles in approval, "Your family is blessed in genetics, you're like a boy version of your sister. You can stay," and walks away talking to his staff. Lisa playfully punches Leo while giggling while Chaeng and Jisoo looks at them chuckling. 

"Alright everyone let's prepare for the photoshoot! " the director yells. A staff member then comes towards us, "Girls come with me, we need to get you dressed." and we all nod, Lisa instructing Leo to behave then leaves with us, following the staff member.
