Chapter 20

Leo's P.O.V

Manila, Philippines

1:30 PM

       Days passes by quickly and now it's already Wednesday, it's already the day I was waiting for. "Ma, I'm going somewhere, I need to get something. I'll be right back." I kissed her cheek when she nod. I immediately went to the garage and put on my helmet then roared my baby to life as I quickly drove off. 

I took off my helmet and looked at the sign for awhile, Melodical Garden - Where flowers bloom and sings for your soul.  I swallowed the growing lump on my throat as I head inside the flower shop. The staff greeted, not looking up,  "Hello, welcome to Melo-" she looked up and and when she saw me her mouth turned into a huge smile as she quickly made her way towards me and enveloped me in a huge hug, I chuckled and hugged her back. She was the first to pull away, her dark brown eyes showed pure happiness. "You grew so big already Aria." I patted her head. She quickly removed my hand and pouted cutely as she crosses her arms on her chest, "I'm not a baby!" she complained, I chuckled and ruffled her hair, her hands trying to stop me, "Yeah? To me you're still the same old pre-mature Aria!" She groaned and forcefully removed my hand from her head and she quickly fixed her hair, her now red face now visible. "Aww, is the baby blushing?" I teased and pinched her cheeks. She quickly slapped it, "I see even after all this time you never matured huh? Still the same annoying guy."

I laughed at her savage remark, I see she rubbed off on her. "Anyways, is auntie around?" I asked. She shook her head, "Mom is out doing errands, she'll be back soon. Why?"

I held out a plastic bag and she quickly took it, "What's this?" she asks and takes a peek inside the bag. "It's souvenirs." I replied. "Thanks." 

"Would you like to have some coffee while you wait for Mom?" she asks and shook my head indicating a no. "I texted auntie two days ago for my order, is it around?"

She shook her head, "I don't know, she never mentioned me that you ordered something heck I didn't even know that you already arrived. I thought you'll be arriving on Friday."

I chuckled, at the same time the door opened, revealing a middle aged lady holding grocery bags. "Aria dear, help me here will-" she stopped talking when she saw me. A wide smile crept into her face. I grinned and walked up towards her and took the grocery bags on her grasp and kissed her cheek then put the bag on the nearby table then faced auntie.

"It's good to see you again Leo, I guess you came here to pick up your order?" . I nod, "Yeah. Thanks auntie and by the way I gave the souvenirs to Aria."  

  "Thank you dear, wait a minute, I'll just get your order." auntie replied and proceeded to walk away then came back a few moments later, holding a bouquet of pink and white roses. She gives it to me and I was about to pay her when she stopped me, "No need to pay". I was about to protest when she beat me to it, "Take it, just think  of it as a thank you for the souvenirs," she insisted and I smiled. "Thank you auntie, I know she'll be happy." she smiled sadly when I said that. 

I thanked her again and was about to leave when Aria insisted to walk me out. Once outside, I kissed her cheek, "Thanks Aria, I'll see you guys later?". She grinned, "You definitely will, we'll see you there." she said as she walks back to their store. I was about to wear my helmet when I hear a familiar voice, making me stop from what I was doing. 

"Well I guess you came to the Philippines because you missed your women." a voice so stern yet familiar made me shiver. I looked back to see the owner of the voice, her feline eyes narrowed, her eyebrows furrow into a frown, a mask was hiding half her face but still, it couldn't hide her beauty. I furrowed my eyebrows out of confusion but I was much more happy to see her. I slowly made my way towards her but stopped when she glared at me, well not really me, but more like the bouquet of roses in my hand. 

"So whom do you exactly want to give that?" she said, her voice cold and laced with I think jealousy. 

"To someone." I reply, trying to sound as casual as possible. "Who?" she asked yet again.

She waited for my reply but I didn't have any, she turned her back, ready to leave. I quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her body towards me. "Let go." she growled.

"You're misunderstanding me, that girl awhile ago is like my little sister." I said defensively. 

"Then, answer my damn question, who will you give that flowers to?" she commanded and yet again, I don't have any answer, "I-I...." I trailed off and I think that was the last straw for her as she turned her back from me, "It was a mistake to come and surprise you here." she mumbled. I gritted my teeth, ah fuck it!! I put the bouquet of flowers on my bike's seat and dragged her to an ally,  where I think nobody will see us and pinned her to the wall. I pulled her mask down and kissed her roughly. Hoping she could sense my need, desperation and frustration through the kiss. She moaned as the kiss turns feverish, her hands making its way to my hair, tangling it with her fingers. I pulled away, looking dead straight into her eyes. "God Jennie! You make me do irrational things when I'm with you!" I said frustratingly, grabbing a fistful of my hair and pulled it slightly.

"And you make me turn into someone I don't know Manoban! Do you know how hard it is for me to control my emotions!? Do you know how much I resent myself just because I couldn't control my jealousy, even though I don't have any right to do so!?" She fired back, "When I saw those flowers you were holding, do you know what irrational things comes to my mind!? Making me think how special she is, making me feel insecure when I normally don't."

I looked at her as she tries to calm her breathing. I smiled, ah this girl will really be the death of me. "Why the hell are you smiling!? Are you enjoying how crazy I am for you!?" she rants. I pecked her lips before pulling back up her mask. She looks at me confusedly and I chuckle, dragging her back to where my bike is before handing her my spare helmet. I quickly grabbed my phone and texted Ma that something came up and I'll be meeting them there.

"Where are we going?" she asks as she puts on her helmet. I grabbed my own helmet and put it on then grabbed the bouquet and gave it to her, "We're going to meet the person whom I'm giving it to."
