Leo's P.O.V

Seoul, South Korea

4:30 AM

I woke up in a good mood today, miraculously, my mood when I wake up really early is that I'm cranky and lazy so I'm unusually piped today. I check myself in the mirror one last time, I was wearing a black turtle neck under the grey coat, grey jeans and black shoes. I took my headset from the coffee table, wrapping it around my neck and my string bag.

My phone buzzed from my pocket, I took it out and read the message,

From:  Cranky Manager

Leo, get down here right now, our ride is here.

I put my phone back to my jean pocket and sped out of my room, taking the elevator to the lobby. I quickly took notice of my manager who was furrowing his eyebrows waiting for me. I walk towards him, who by now noticed me as well, he signaled me to follow him.

When the door of the van opened, a figure suddenly emerged in front of me,  "Manoban!"

I quickly jump back in surprise, cursing "Shit! What the hell!?" I yell, clutching my chest trying to eradicate my irregular fast heartbeat. I look at the figure who surprised the living hell out of me, her feline eyes gradually turning into a thin line from laughing, I can see tears forming in the corner of her eye. She was clutching her stomach, her laughter fills my ears like a symphony. It was not like any other laughter, not like David's laughter when he annoys me, it strangely does not irritate me instead I found myself liking it but I pretended to be irritated anyway.

I cross my arms and lift an eyebrow, looking at her intently. Her laughter gradually stops and instead replaced with a grin. She looks at me, amusement visible on her expression, "It's a nice way to start your morning right?" she asks mischievously. "Thank you for your wonderful greeting Ms. Kim, but I'll appreciate it more if you won't be the cause of my death." I reply sarcastically.

"Oh come on, can't lil' Leo handle a bit of scaring?" she teased.

I roll my eyes and hop in the van, sitting beside her. I hear the van door closing, I lean closer to her, our face only inches a part, she lifts her eyebrows challenging me. She was trying to intimidate me, note: trying, because her cheeks were turning a bit red, betraying her. I smirk, "Well now, instead of me, clearly my little Jennie is the one who can't handle me." I teased.

Her eyebrows perk up in surprise, "Your Jennie?"

Shit! What did I just say!? My little Jennie, really Leo!?  I try to stay composed, when really I'm internally panicking. "I-I, uhh..." I stutter. She looks at me expectantly, curiosity and amusement evident in her eyes Fuck I thought I had the upper hand, now it backfired! "I didn't say that." I reply blankly, hoping to cover up the nervousness in my tone. "No, I swear I heard "My little Jennie" she quipped.

"You must've heard it wrong." I reasoned.

"No, my hearing is good. I'm a singer remember?" she fires.

"Even singers can hear some things wrong." I fire back.

"Yeah, well not this singer." she replies with confidence.

"Well-" I was cut off when I see a spider on her shoulder, "Jennie, don't move." I say warily,  leaning my body towards hers.

"What is it?" she asks cautiously.

"There's a spider on your shoulder, I'm gonna get it so I want-" I didn't get to finish to sentence when she squealed in horror, panicking. Her arms wrapped around my neck, her body now hugging mine.
