Jealous? More likely than you think

As usual, the performance they gave was awesome, their bodies only a little sore having gotten used to the endurance and physicality of their performances ages ago and the only evidence of their effort from the final act an hour ago was the sweat that has dried up but the real challenge that any idol has when it came to performative events was the signing portion that came afterwards.

They sat on stage, legs handing off the ledge overlooking their lines of fans with the loud chatter barely muffling the strict and pro-fresh-ional staff politely asking their fans to stay in an orderly line with their security and their managersー secretly, though frankly Pearl and Marina would say it was kinda obviousー eyeing the attendants to any potential trouble makers and troublemakers of the past who didn't know when to quit.

Pearl eyed the way Marina received a collector's card with her face on it, the genuine excitement in her eyes as she was encouraged to speed up, with a bashful grin she nodded and apologized to the fans who, though were disappointed, were grateful for the attention from their *Kamioshi. Pearl actually recognized that inkling, Sir Roller Queen, he was a very passionate Marina fan and she liked him as he seemed to truly get Marina like she did and appreciated her; she followed him on her main account before making a personal one then following him again on that. Though that didn't stop the irritated looks she sent over to Marina's line, Pearl wasn't jealous of her girlfriend and fellow idol, nor jealous of the attention she was receiving, she knew her girl deserved all that attention, but the issue of her annoyance lies in the way a loud minority of Marina's fans were behaving as it became their turn to see Marina. The number of inklings and octolings that started flirting with Marina the moment the last fan moved out of their way was intense, the amount of them Pearl has lost count, squit, even the staff knew this and had moved the OTH pair up onto the stage as a couple of fans had practically stood on the table they were originally set up at. She sends a quick glance towards the sweets, most of them chocolate after marina posted that she was craving them online a few days ago, almost taking over their space on stage. So many of them with taped love letters to the chocolate boxes. She needed to distract herself; Pearl closed the box of her gifts, and tiny sized fan merch she liked handing out to the younger kids when they came, scooted them closer to the ledge so she can get the merch before hoping down the stage to get up and close with her fans only to be tugged to the side by her manager. "Pearl!" She landed uncomfortably but solidly on her feet before looking at her manager.

"Yo! I can jump down just fine, man." Her manager raised a brow. Silently, Pearl glanced down and noticed another box of letters she had thrown at her by a very energetic and shy fan, she was pretty sure that was one of the representatives of her fan club before they ran back into the line. "Whoops." She feigned a stumble to further annoy her manager before snickering as she picked up the box and set it on the table that had been pushed to the side. "My bads, dude." Her manager waved her off, having gotten used to her occasional stumbles because she got distracted, at least he didn't laugh the last time she walked into Marina's back after the nth time.

Pearl looked back at her line, there was an octoling with blue tentacles that gradually became purple, she was blushing a bright purple as her friends behind her pushed her further to be closer to the rapper. Pearl flashed her a smile, hoping it would relax the girl if she were a bit more welcoming.

It only seemed to make the poor girl blush deeper, she stumbled forward with one final shove before shakily holding out a crown that looked just like the one the pygmy squidling wore. Pearl was pretty positive the merch that was a clone of her crown didn't look as well made. "Lorena!" One her friends hissed supportively, though seemingly exasperated with the shyness of his friend. Lorena, the shaking fan, jumped, gaining back her ability to talk. She swallowed before yelling. "Hi- Hi miss pearl- I mean- uh- Hey-! I really like your rapping and how cool you are-" The poor octoling turned her head away before letting out a heavy breath, Pearl feels a tad bit complimented though was mostly worried about the girl. Awesomely, the girl stopped shaking like a leaf before holding the crown in her hands more confidently. "Can you sign my crown?" Pearl grinned charmingly, a feeling of pride in the kid making her feel a bit light.
