"Ugh, Callie turn it off." I whine, only half awake. "Callie?" I pull my arm out from under me and begin to feel around my empty bed. "Calliope!?" I yell, flipping off my stomach and bolting upright.
"Hey, what's wrong? I'm right here." She coos stepping out of the en-suite, cell phone in hand.
"Making a call?" I question, staring at the phone.
"Oh, no. I was... Just checking my emails." She's lying, but why?
"In the bathroom?"
"Yeah."
"Okay then. Whatever."
"Arizona what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Tell me" she says slipping back into bed, and resting a comforting had on my thigh.
"Really love, its nothing." I halfheartedly smile over at her.
"Okay." She leans in to kiss me, but I dodge it, and her lips lad on my right cheek instead. I can see the hurt in her eyes. "Why did I do that?" She slides back out of bed.
"Where are you going?" I ask, the hurt in my voice matching that in her voice.
"Oh no. You don't get to be hurt." She turns and snaps at me. My eyes start to water. "Oh god. I'm sorry baby. I don't know where that came from."
"You should... You should go." I start to cry as she gets dressed and opens the bedroom door. She pauses and looks back to me, "I love you."
I just nod. She sighs and leaves, and I cry even harder.
"What is she hiding?"
