"I'll see you soon, sweetheart." Hudson said as we sat inside his car.

"I'll see you soon, too." I leaned in and kissed his plump lips, that were still a bright pink from all of our kissing.

"I love you." He said while he broke the kiss.

"I love you too." I responded back for the second time today.

"Brynn!" We both heard a voice call from outside. We turned to look at Andrea, standing on the stairs of her house.

"I'll see you later." I rolled my eyes then kissed his cheek. I got out of the car and Andrea walked up to me.

"Stay the hell away from her!" She shouted at him inside the car.

"Andrea stop!" I shouted back.

"You harm her worst than the way that Samuel ever has!" She said again in anger, and by now Hudson started his car again and began to drive away.

"How could you say that?" I asked her with anger and annoyance laced around my words.

"Brynn, wake up! He is leading you down the wrong path! You're still in pain from what Samuel did to you, that you're-"

"Don't fucking say his name!"

"Brynn, come on. You have to realize that Hudson is too toxic for you-"

"Well I love him! And there's nothing you could do about it." I began to walk away from her, and she began to chase after me.

"Love him? You've only known him for 3 months! You don't know what love is-"

"And you do?" I aggressively turned around and faced her. "Aren't you the one that's soo in love with your boyfriend? He pays more attention to baseball and video games than to you!"

"You don't know what me and Josh have-"

"It's pretty obvious that you two are still together just because you don't know what else to do! You two have been together for a year, yet you don't hold hands or barely kiss in public!" I raised my hands to add more drama to the situation, and I immediately regret my words.

Tears began to leave her eyes, and she looked distressed.

"Andrea.I-I'm so sorry." I stuttered, walking up to her.

She took a seat on the stairs and looked out towards the palm trees. She remained silent for a while, letting her tears fall down her face.

"You know.. I caught him cheating on me with another girl." She let out a painful laugh.

"It was during the beginning of the year. I wanted to go see him after school one day, because he didn't go. He said he was sick, but when I went to his house and into his room. I saw her. She was beautiful, Brynn. She had blonde hair and a banging body. I've never felt more embarrassed in my life. We had a break for awhile, but he came back to me. I kept telling myself, if you love someone, let them go, and if they come back, it was meant to be." She let out a terrible cry after her last word.

"Andrea, oh my God, I didn't know. I'm so sorry." I held her in my arm, and became the shoulder she could cry on.

"I love him, and I know he loves me too. It just isn't the same anymore." She sobbed.

"You don't deserve him." I whispered.

"But I can't let him go. He's my first love; my first everything."

My mind began to shift to Hudson.

Am I really willing to risk heartbreak for him?

I love him, I always have, but when he told me those words, it was confirmation for his feelings towards me. I never felt so happy than I was earlier today, with him.
