I found a book beneath Dean's bed in a shabby motel not far from a remote town infested with demons, which we disposed of yesterday, it was our first hunt in the last two weeks.
The book is black and hard covered, and on the first page it read 'Dean's Diary'. Maybe I should have put it down, but I didn't want to, I wanted to read it.
"I need to leave for a while, you know how to find me" I had spoken after hiding the book in my trench coat and walking to the kitchen table where the boys were.
"Be safe" Dean had said before I left...be safe? What kind of goodbye is that, I find it weird, of cause I'll be safe, why does he need to tell me to 'be safe?'.
I sit in a garden with beautiful flowers and open the book.
