Friday (end of the day)

The bell rang and I was feel at last.

Even though I'll be back in 2 days, at least I don't have to worry about homework for once.

"Destiny." I head Darius call. But I ignored him and kept walking to my locking. I heard him chuckle.

"Desiree." He said making me turn around.

"Yes?" I said.

"You heard me the first time."

"I don't think so."

"Right. Anyways you probably know about my essay."

"What the heck was that? You weren't supposed to write it like a YouTube comment, it's an essay." I said.

"I had no time for it so I wrote what I could." He shrugged.

"Whatever, Mrs. Ran suggested we meet after school."

"I was just about to tell you about that. I'm only free Monday's and Thursdays."

"Fine with me,"

"Alright, give me your number so we could get in touch."

I sighed and pulled out my phone and handed it to him. He put in his number than gave it back.

"All done, see you round." He turns his heels and walks off.

"You two are getting close." Crystal said as they all approached me.

"It's mutual. Strictly business." I said closing my locker.

"He's taken anyways." Diamond said. We walked down the halls and out the doors.

"Woah, it's colder than I expected." Iyan said as she puts on her sweater.

"It's that time of the year again." I mumbled.

"What are you guys doing this weekend?" Crystal asked as he walked towards our cars.

"Hanging our with Justine tomorrow, and that about it." I said.

"Des, I think your leaving something out." Iyan said.

"I am?" I said making her roll her eyes.

"Is there something your not telling us Des?" Diamond said.

"She has a date tonight." Iyan said and they all gasp.

"A date?!" They both said.

"It's not a date, we're just hanging out." I say leaning against my car.

"With who?" Diamond asked. I pulled out my phone and search his instagram which he gave me. I gave them my phone.

"Just a guy I met at the mall."

"Just? Ugh I hate it when you don't tell us these things." Diamond said.

"Didn't think it was important." I shrugged.

"I don't think I remember the last time you hung out with a guy." Crystal said.

"Well she hung out with my brother that one time I worked late." Iyan said.

"Doesn't count." Diamond said.

"I'm leaving." I say unlocking the car.

"Text us the deeds, if not we have our resources." Diamond said.

"Bye guys." Crystal hugged us and they walk off.

We get in the car and I do my usual routine, picking up Justine and driving home. I say bye to Iyan and we go inside.
