Yoongi wanted to spend the day with Jimin, even if just strolling mindlessly on the street, but ever since morning, Jimin have been summoned by Chief Soekjin.

It make sense though, tomorrow they will move the bird out of the cage, Jimin being the only other with the key, have to be part of the operation.

Yoongi recited the slip Namjoon left him in his mind again, tonight is his last chance, he have to do it.

So he took Jimin out for dinner, and despite the other's rejection, they ended up drinking too much. Well, Jimin to be specific.

"Are you sure you don't need me to call you a cab sir?" The waiter at the restaurant was polite, but Yoongi refused, "We can take a walk, the fresh air will help him"

"Yeah!" Jimin waved his arms in a frantic, "We don't want cab! I want to-Ooof"

And he threw up all over the waiter, wine, and food, and all that jazz.

The Cab driver helped Jimin get off the seat, and Yoongi paid a generous tip before taking his leave. He slang Jimin's arms across his neck and heaved, "Come on buddy, don't be dead weight"

But all that left the younger's mouth was incoherent noises, and Yoongi apologized for making him miserable. The walk up the stairs was slow and heavy, every little crack that he never bothered to notice was suddenly there, in clear sight. The light still wasn't fixed, the wood still creaked, the hallway still smelled of old age and this city, particular and nostalgic.

Room 212, the third door to the left, with a bell that doesn't work. Is what Yoongi have became so familiar with, he turned the lock with a pull, then gave it a push, because that's the only way the door will open.

Jimin already fell asleep, so Yoongi didn't bother turning on the light.

The room was no longer a mess, Yoongi remembered Jimin telling him he didn't want him feeling uncomfortable when he visits, so he cleaned up his place. It was pristine, even when there's only the moon and street light illuminating the space, he can see the dull shine on the wooden floor. He can imagine Jimin running in and about, with intense eyes, trying his hardest to transform this place, into a space that Yoongi can enjoy.

"You didn't have to work this hard for me" Yoongi whispered, and was careful not to ruin Jimin's hard work, he carried him back to his bedroom, and changed him into clean clothing.

Yoongi just sat there, next to him, and stared.

Jimin's breathing long and steady, and he looked so serene. Yoongi couldn't help but traced his straight eyebrows and brushed his hairs to the side, the key laid quietly on Jimin's neck, the key that will end this dream.

The clock stroke half past 11, in 30 minutes, the magic will disappear. So Yoongi swallowed hard, and made up his mind. This is what he was here for, this is the moment why he was sent, and he have to make his father, mother proud.

So he took the key from Jimin's neck, and held the little piece of metal in his palm, feeling every bit of it's weight.

"Goodbye Jimin" He gave him one last kiss on the forehead.

"Don't forgive me"

That was all that's left echoing in the room. And Yoongi walked out.
