Yoongi turned around and smiled at Jimin, still out of breath, "you caught me, congratulations. You won"

"Answer me this" Jimin huffed, "were you really gonna leave me dead if I didn't know about all these"

"Does it mat—"

"Just answer my god damn question!" Jimin was desperate, he didn't care if he looked pathetic. He need to know the answer, because the uncertainties are making him psychotic, and he need Min Yoongi to make it alright.

"No" Yoongi looked into Jimin's eyes, he was fearless, "I was ready to die with you, I couldn't bring myself to live knowing you are gone, so I was ready to follow whatever footsteps you took"

"I don't believe you" Jimin scorned, "you were gonna leave, because I was just one of your story, just another flower, another memory"

"No Jimin!"Yoongi shut his eyes and tried to connect his feelings with the other, "don't you get it? You were the story, the flower, the memory! Hell, you are the only one that mattered!"

And on Jimin looked, but Yoongi wouldn't meet his eyes. He put his wrist together in front, trembling, ready for the cuff, "But it doesn't matter anymore, you were the better actor, I lost."

"It's over now"

And Jimin was miserable fine.

"Take me back, this will gave your career a huge boost"

This is not what he wanted the ending he have always wanted.

"Your parents will be proud"

Then why does he feel like his heart have been ripped out.

"Why would you say that?" His voice shaking.

Yoongi looked up.

"This has nothing to do with my career, or my parents"

"Why would you say that—"

"Then what do you want me to say? Park Jimin. We played the game, and you won, there's nothing. else. to. say"

Because life is already over for Yoongi, but Jimin can still go on. He doesn't need a turn of event, he doesn't need Yoongi to drag him down. Whatever they had, was enough for Yoongi, be it real or no.

But it was no longer enough for Jimin.

He wanted to see the morning light glowing on Yoongi's face again. He wanted to see his wayward blonde hair blowing in the wind. He wanted to see those lazy smiles everyday for the rest of his life.

And beach and shore, and rose and gun, and cream soup and sand castle all became known as the collective entity—Min Yoongi. And he can't imagine his life without, or does he want a life without. But it's all turning into mere specks after fireworks, dissipating, blurring, out of the edge of his forever world.

"You don't need to hesitate, Jimin" Yoongi assured, "You did the right thing"

And Jimin pulled out the cuffs from his back pocket, and inched toward his own reflection, doubting, staring, straight into the other's two deep sea. And Park Jimin thought, if he had an option C, he would choose to drown in it.

Perhaps everything was already predetermined, Jimin thought about how Taehyung always mocked those that believed in the fleeting constellations, how it's nothing but what you wanted the explanation to be. Perhaps his meeting with Min Yoongi was nothing but a chance amongst the billions of coincidences, an inevitability born from serendipity, or calamity.

And he raised his head, and saw the flash of a vanishing light in Yoongi's eyes, horrified, before the sound of a gun from the distance broke the night.

And just like that day, Jimin landed on his back with Min Yoongi on top, disoriented, ears ringing, he can feel the coldness of the cement ground, and his elbow scraping against the rough surface. He didn't get scared to the point of wetting his pants, so why does it feel so warm and wet?

"Hey! Min Yoongi!" Jimin grabbed Yoongi's collar, and pressed on his wounds, flipping him over.

But the latter was already covered in blood.

"No no no, you were lying to me weren't you!?"

"Answer me! Say you didn't play me!" Jimin was shaking so much, but blood was filling up Yoongi's lungs and all he could do was cough.

"You are-so-so caught in your own lies" Yoongi laughed through coughs, blood staining his teeth "You didn't need to-to use the" Cough, "cactus, but you-did, and the-tears you sh-shed at the beach" Cough, "I n-never love-d you, Park, Jimin-I never d-did"

"You bastard....you....wake up!" And Jimin couldn't hear anything through his ringing ears, he couldn't hear Min Yoongi's lies, or the silence of his heartbeat. It all went numb, and drifted into nothingness.
