"Good morning my beautiful friend!!"

An excited voice following a tight hug brought Jimin out of his daze. He turned around and saw his old roommate Hoseok, beaming with delight. His smiley expression making even his bright red hair dull in comparison. Jimin never understood how a person can always be happy, it defies the law of humanity and social orders.

"Why so sad huh? The day's beautiful, fresh air, sunshine! You should smile!"

Jimin envied Hoseok, for a lot of things, but his ability to be unaffected by negative energy was the most of it all.

"Hey Hobi, tell me what's your secret? How can I be happy like you?"

Hoseok tilted his head like a curious puppy, "Maybe you should try yoga, like this!"

He proceed to strike out a warrior pose, stretching his navy blue uniform. He grabbed Jimin immediately when the younger turned his heels, and laughed, "Sorry sorry that was a joke, don't leave"

"How about a party huh? I know! I'll throw a party this weekend so you can meet some new friends! And we can all just chill and relax, you'll be happy in no time!"

Maybe Hoseok was right, maybe he just needed to expand his social circles. That became the exact reason why Park Jimin is now sitting in Hoseok's bachelor pad, surrounded by strangers, with a drink in hand.

Yet the party didn't make him happier. He should have guessed, that Hoseok would definitely invite the new guy to his house party. Since that's the right thing to do, and it was Jimin's miscalculation, that lead him to this circumstance.

Min Yoongi was surprisingly social, at least he had no problem socializing with women. Jimin gulped down his drink and settled the cup onto the table.

"How unfortunate" Taehyung squeezed next to Jimin on the couch, "He's so good looking too"

"Who are you talking about?"

"Whomever you are thinking about" Taehyung sipped his grape juice, "You are not fooling anyone friend, besides that blonde block-head over there" Point.

"If I knew you were into him I would have never asked him out on a date. But I'm also glad I did, because the whole time he was just talking about past girlfriends and it was—" Taehyung took a deep breath in, "—let's just say obvious"

Jimin looked over to Yoongi, who's standing next to a girl in green dress. He himself was wearing a royal blue dress shirt and a silver watch, one hand in his pocket and the other holding a drink. He couldn't see Yoongi's expression, but the girl was eager to impress.

She has pretty eyes and long curly hair, the type most normal men wouldn't reject. Unfortunately Jimin doesn't feel the attraction, so he would never understand her charm.

Out of nowhere a flock of party guests suddenly filled the space between the couch and the kitchen, chattering and flirting like zealous penguins. Jimin stuck his neck out trying to see between the bodies blocking his view, but when the group was finally gone, so are the other two.

"What? Where did they—"

"Chim, come on stop this, you need to let it go. There's no point in wasting time on him, you need to find someone that's interested in you"

Though it was as if Taehyung was invisible to him, Jimin got up and ran over to Hoseok, "Hey, did you see where Min Yoongi went?"

"Hey my friend! When did u get here? You having fun?!"

The fiery red-haired boy was already half drunk. He opened his arms wide and pulled Jimin in for a hug, alcohol breath spreading onto the latter's face.
