I stepped into the shower and let the warm water engulf my sweaty body. Ever since my little show yesterday at the boxing gym, Axel has been eyeing me with so much curiosity that I can basically feel the confusion radiating off his body. It's almost killing me but I haven't told him off yet, I just need to get through this school day and maybe I can finally take these bandages off.

I walked out to my bedroom with a towel wrapped around my body and pulled out black ripped jeans and a grey thrasher sweater with a pair of black old skool vans. I slipped on my lingerie and pulled on my outfit while I let my hair air dry.

I grabbed all of my books together and my phone before heading out of the room and downstairs for breakfast. And as usual, whenever I walked down the hallway I always stopped to admire the painting of the sunflower before going down to see Axel.

"Good morning Takeridge," I beamed once I got down.

Axel turned around and gave me a smirk, "Good morning babe," he greeted casually.

I sat down in my seat and started digging into the breakfast that Axel had prepared for the both of us. Really, I don't think that he's a bad boy at all, maybe they all were rumors.

"What's got you in such a good mood this morning?" Axel chuckled as I danced in my seat while eating my food.

I gave him a wide close lipped smile and cocked my eyebrow, "What? I can't be in a good mood?" I asked teasingly.

He smirked at my enthusiasm and sat back in his chair. I looked up to him to see him watching me eat and I swallowed my food, "What?"

He smirked even wider, "You look so beautiful when you smile," he breathed out.

My chewing slowed down as I stared back up at Axel with wide eyes. Beautiful? Did he really just call me that? I-I've never been called beautiful before. Is he lying to me? I think he's lying to me, everybody has always called me ugly, only ugly, nothing else. Am I hearing things right? Do I need to get my ears checked? Shit, first my eyes and now my ears? What's next, my sense of smell?

I gulped down my food and opened and closed my mouth repeatedly until I somehow found words, "What?" I choked out.

He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, "Y-You're beautiful when you smile babe," he said a little louder.

I set down my cutlery and stared down at my food like the answers to all of my questions were going to pop up on my eggs. Did he just stutter? Is he really a bad boy like people say he is?

Now I'm sure those are just rumors...

"Sure what are just rumors?" He asked out of nowhere.

My head snapped up to him and I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. Did I just say that out loud?

"Yeah, you did," he chuckled. I rolled my eyes at him and we both cleaned up before making our way outside and to the car.

When we approached the school many eyes were on us as Axel opened the door for me. Since my wounds were much more better than they were before, he doesn't have to carry me around anymore. But if I'm going to be honest, I miss having an excuse to touch Axel.

I kept my head down as we walked through the hallways and I stopped at my locker to get my books. Axel had walked away to get his other books just as the blonde with brown dewy eyes that look just like her brother's walked up to me.

"You're still hanging out with him? You fucking slut!" She screeched.

Ugh, right when my morning was going soooo good...
