Lewis

I stop, seeing the red stoplight. Jennie's house should be near. I take off my silver helmet, letting the wind play with my blonde locks while running my fair hand on it."Lewis? What's up with the helmet?" Bianca asks me, tightening her frail sandy tan arms on my hips. I smirked at her, before giving her my helmet. She lets go and placed it inside the motor's box. She turned her blue eyes back to mine. "Keep your helmet on, sweetheart," I say. She turns red before hugging me again.
I look back at the stoplight with my emerald eyes, seeing it turn green. I rev up my engine and drove away, feeling her grip tighten. "How's it going there, Bia?" She merely shakes her head, pressing it on my back. I chuckle and speed up.
And just as sunset came, I reached the Wilkins' house. She proceeded to let go of me before I honked motor as loudly as I could possibly can and screamed like a feral. She regained her grip out of shock, as I could hear the neighbors' groaning at my boisterous act.
"It's the boy again!"
"Shut up!"
"That boy's got no respect, I tell ya!"A lady with a short bob squinted her eyes and picked up her glasses, stepping out to her balcony screamed "PREACH" in agreement to the old man's remark. She then went back into her room and closed all her windows.
I looked at the woman's house and grinned, remembering the fire in her dark eyes. Biance then laughed after releasing me, "Lewis, you douche!" She hit me on my back as I laughed with her. Suddenly, the gate opens and I smile at the couple, the woman had a stern look on her face, while the man hugged me with his large arms. "Lewis! Welcome to our humble abode, you troublemaker!"
I chuckled, "Hey there Aunt Ava and Uncle Roman!" The man then switched her attention to my girlfriend and hugged her tight, "And you must be the lovely Bianca Douglas! Welcome to the family!" She screams in response to the shock, before laughing, "Nice to meet you too!"
I turn to Aunt Ava, who seemed concerned for the neighbors, chuckling nervously. I wave at her, getting her attention. Her frown turned to a smile, "Nice to see you again, Lewis." She turns to Bia, grinning, "I'm so happy to have met you, Bianca." The blonde smiled, still in the man's arms, "Same, ma'am!"
Aunt Ava then lifted her arms, encouraging us to go inside their lot, "Come, come. Enter the house." Uncle Roman let go of Bianca and held her arm by arm leading her inside, grinning widely. I smiled and pulled my motorcycle inside. I turned the key, before putting it inside my pocket. Just as I turn, a pair of hands grabbed my face, hitting my forehead on the knee. "H-Hey!"
Regaining my balance, I see my best friend, Jennifer. "Jennie, what the hell?" She laughed at my misery, her smile reaching up to her eyes, "Oh, Lewis! You know you'll miss me when I'm gone!" I look at Bianca, to see her giggle behind the brunnete. Once she saw me, she merely smiled, we knew each other's secret.
Jennie then turned around and smiled at Bia. Her smile was as large as her father's and as feminine as her mother's. Maybe she's not as much as a clone to her mother as she believes. Just then, her little sister, Jane went for me, hugging me as tightly as she could possibly can. She went with a huge grin with her eyes sparkling. Jennie's right, Jane is a copy of Uncle Roman. "Hi, Jane! Is your boyfriend Noah coming over?"
Her eyes looked down, pouting as she shook her head. Uncle Roman seemed to have heard us since he immediately lets go of Bia to grumble at the boy's name. I smile, ruffling the youngest's hair so hard, her locks basically turned into an afro. "E-Eh?!" she screamed, before letting me go and tried to fix her hair. She turned to me and glared as I laughed. Aunt Ava then rushed to her and proceeded to brush her kid's hair while chuckling.
Still stuck in Jane's glare, Justine turns and attempts to shake my hand with a smile. I reach out, and instead of shaking his hand, I slap it left, right, up, down. He seemed baffled at first, before smiling. Justine was always the most serious one in their family. Well, second to his mom. He seems to be the most introverted out of all of them, but we knew each other pretty well.
I walk towards him and stealthily steal his prosecutor's badge without him realizing. In a few nanoseconds, he saw it missing as I throw it back to his forehead, which fortunately fell on his hand. He looks at me, glaring once more. I chuckle at the eldest, "Still a prosecutor, eh Prodigy?"
"Indeed, Mister Goldman," he smiles, then starts to laugh with me.
I look at Jennie, talking to Bianca. The two girls knew each other already, but no one expected the two to be friends. Jennifer was just too wild for Bianca, who was usually reserved and read books for fun. But hey, that's the same thing going for me and the blonde. Opposites attract, indeed. I smile at Bianca. She looked beautiful in the sunset, with her golden locks flowing, with her blue eyes shining. Her cute lips smiled at my best friend, before seeing me staring. She grinned wider at me, and I waved back.
Just then, a large arm wrapped around me, pulling me to his side, "LET'S EAT!" Uncle Roman said. I chuckled and nodded my head. Before I realized, I was sitting on a table, in the middle of Jennie and Bianca. We were eating a stick of barbeque with the rice every Filipino loves. I grabbed the stick of barbeque and ripped it using my teeth, and let the smoky flavor wander in my mouth. I look at Jane smiling wildly at the food, and so was Justine. Uncle Roman watched as his children ate his food, and he looked so proud, while Aunt Ava smiled brightly at her husband.
I turn to Bia, and her eyes were sparkling. It was too cute. She noticed my stare, and smiled at me, bumping me on my shoulder. I chuckled and took a spoonful of rice. Turning my attention to my best friend, she ate happily. She turned to me and grinned.
Man, Jennie. You'll flip out when you find out.
"So, Jennie. College?" I ask her. She lost her grin and put on a frown. She then averted her gaze to Aunt Ava, who watched her. The woman nodded, gently. Jennie turned to me once more, parted her lips to answer, before Jane shouted, "Yes! She'll be going to Canada, yup!"
My best friend lowered her head in defeat, stopping a giggle at her sister's reaction. Justine groaned, hitting Jane's hand, making her drop her spoon. She gasped and glared at him, "HEY!"
"Jane, no shouting on the table," Aunt Ava said, "Justine, no...slapping on the table."
The siblings looked at each other, then at their mom,
"Yes, ma."
"Of course, mother.""TRUTH!" Uncle Roman screamed, far louder than Jane. Aunt Ava turned to him, glared, and hit him on his shoulder, "Roman!" He laughed, loud and booming. It was so infectious, that everyone had started laughing with him, even Aunt Ava. Bia was giggling so much and Jennie was laughing exactly like her father's.
By the time the room was silent, as everyone had laughed their asses off, Jennie answered my question, "Yea. Canada, mmm-hmm! Going to be in the medicinal practice. Time to be a doctor from my country."
Bia smiled, "That's so cool, Jennifer. Medicine isn't exactly an easy route to drive in."
I grabbed her, ruffling Jennie's hair, "That's my best friend!" She chuckled.
She managed to escape from me, digging her head out of my arms and straightened her posture. I smiled, "Well, Bia and I got a surprise for you."
She lifted her eyebrow, showing full confusion, "What is it?"
I open my mouth until Jane started guessing, "A DOG?
"A BIRD?
"Oh OH! A DRESS?
"Wait no that's stupid- a, uh a... DOCTOR'S MANUAL!"
Everyone turned to Jane's eccentric nature, as Uncle Roman laughed while Aunt Ava and Bia were giggling. Justine lifted his arm and pat her on the back, followed by Jennie, and both spoke, "That's more stupid." The teenager pouted, "Then what is it!"
Bia's smile grew wider, "We're going with you!"
My best friend chuckled, "Ridiculous."
I grinned, "We're serious."
She turned her attention to me, seeing her dark eyes widen as her pouty mouth went agape,
"We're going to Canada. Together."
And just like that, the whole room went into chaos.
