Lewis

Somehow, I found a place to eat. It's nothing special, it's literally-"McDonalds?" Jennie laughed, "That's the best you could do, Lewis Goldman?" I could hear Bia laugh behind me, even as she held my hand.
I rolled my eyes, "McDonalds is universal, and you love their fries, Jennie. Stop complaining."
"Yea, sure," she says, before flipping her long dark hair. She tucked her hands on her pockets and smiled at me.
I smile back at her, before turning to see Bia. Her thin lips curled to a smile and somehow her violet pouf dress stayed stiff in the wind. She looked beautiful. My darling.
Before I knew it, Jennie pulled us two inside the fast food restaurant. There weren't many people in the place, miraculously. It was 2:30 after all, it's way past lunch. Jennie pulled us to an empty table and we two while she grinned, "You two, stay here while I get on the line! I suppose we'll take the usual. See ya!"
She rushed to the counter, leaving me and Bia baffled. She didn't even leave time for me to argue. Man, what a gentleman I am.
I pull the chair for Bia, which she gladly sat on and smiled at me. I sat next to her, and immediately I felt her hand on my thigh. I freeze and turn red, as she rested her head on my shoulder.
I turn to look at her. She was red but had a sheepish smile on her face. I smile at her, and ease up to her touch. I held her hand on top of my thigh and sigh.
"You know I love you, right Lewis?" she asks.
I nod, slowly, "Of course, Bia. I love you too."
Her grip tightened on my thigh, before she turned her hand to face mine. "Remember our first date, my dear?"
I chuckle, "Our trip to the carnival?"
She shrugged, "No, I mean. When Erica and Elise.. left."
I paused, silent. I remembered my sisters. Moreover, I remembered my family. It was silent, for a moment, before I replied, "That was a date?"
"It was to me. Things happened...I miss them."
The memories started flooding into me, and I remember the day I lost everything.
My phone rang in my pocket as I played a game on my PS4. I grabbed it, answering the call as I continue to play my game, holding my phone using my shoulder, "Hey, what's up?"
Immediately I heard Bia crying, her sobs cutting through the air. I drop the controller and hold my phone using my hands, asking "Hey, hey Bia. Bia, are you okay?"
"I'm at your door, Lewis," I heard her sniffle. I go to my closet, grabbing a pair of pants, continuing to ask her questions, "What's the matter, Bia?"
I run to the door, hearing her voice on my phone and behind it, "It's about Erica and Elise," she whispered. I opened the door and there, she was crying. I hugged her, confusion plastered on my face, "What happened?"
I've just gotten to the Philippines with Erica from Canada. What could possibly happen between my family?
"Elise is dead, Lewis. My best friend, your sister. She's dead!" Bia screamed, her fingers digging into my hair. Just like that, I dropped my phone. I fell numb. Bia won't stop crying, but she sobbed out words. Words I could not understand.
"Everyone is dead, Lewis! Erica's alive, but her mental state! She saw everything! Elise killed them! And just like that, Elise was dead! Lewis, I'm sorry- I-!"
