Luke found himself alone. He sat alone on the massive stage he would preform on a day from now. He felt pain in his heart again and he wanted badly to talk to Mia.
Mia made him feel better.
Mia was healing his broken heart.
But he wouldn't call her. She was working right now, she was working hard for a promotion. Sometimes he wished he had a normal job, then maybe he wouldn't feel like this, maybe it was this industry that damaged him so badly. Maybe it was just him and no matter his job he would have felt this way.
He wished he knew.
"Luke." Micheal called for his friend. Luke didn't move and soon Micheal was sat next to him.
"Luke?" Micheal spoke softly.
Luke looked to Micheal. Tears in his eyes.
"Why can't I stop hurting?" He asked.
Micheal frowned.
"Why can't the one person that takes my pain away be with me? Why does she have to be so far?"
"Amelia." Micheal says.
"Amelia." Luke repeats to himself.
"Luke, she's still you're friend, whenever you feel this you know you can call her. You can text her. She's not going to ignore you."
"She's busy." Luke frustrates his words. "She has a job, she has a life that she's working hard for. I can't mess that up."
"Luke she's you're friend. She's not going to ignore you." Micheal sighs. "I'm sorry I can't be the friend you need anymore. I wish talking to me could help you like it used to. You know i'm here day and night for you Luke. Everyday."
"I know... thank you."
"Text her, Luke." Micheal says, standing up and walking away.
He didn't.
