Dr. Aphrodite was on the entrance of his room, her group of her nurses trailing behind with worried look on her faces. With a nod, majority of them left– leaving her with three nurses behind. Brad could see Nurse Barry's hesitant gaze yet a shy smile adorned his face, and he could also see Nurse Kayla who looked around in wonder.
Though there was a new nurse trailing behind, or maybe she was an old one but wasn't introduced to him. Dr. Aphrodite made her way over next to Brad, the three nurses getting into action as Nurse Kayla and the unknown Nurse went to the other side of the bed, and Nurse Barry gave him a small smile to which he returned with his own. The male then turned to his own clipboard to jot down his vitals.
Brad returned his gaze to his brothers only to roll his eyes when they were already eyeing the two nurses and his assigned doctor. Dr. Aphrodite turned to them with a smile and small bow, ❝ Welcome, all of you. Are you all having a nice day? ❞
❝ Very much now you're here. . ❞ Boris trailed off, howls from his brothers responded as Aphrodite turned her gaze to his but shrugged him off with a nod. Her face suddenly expressionless, she turned to eye the other specimen in the room.
❝ Mr. Fernandez is responding to treatment, as I have sent from my past emails– Empyshema cannot be reversed but it can be prevented or stopped from it's further progression. For now I will need him to stay for a few more weeks, in this so I hope and guarantee that he comes out afresh.
He will undergo certain treatments we see and deem fit, whatever happens I can assure you that the result won't be disappointing. ❞ Dr. Aphrodite said, Brad's other brothers nodded while Boris and Aurelius seem to have their own battle through their shared harsh glances. Aphrodite continued to spare details but Brad already left the conversation when Nurse Barry came next to him.
Barry gave a small smile, ❝ How are you? ❞
Brad bared the same, though his must be a little wider. ❝ Doing good, you ask me that all the time it makes me worry if I get to live or not. I should be the one asking that, you know? How are you, Nurse Allen? ❞
Barry grinned, ❝ Doing great, thank you for asking. Hey. . Dr. Wayne did told me about your friends' ranks. . But I realized now that I wanted to ask. . what is yours? ❞
Brad smirked, ❝ Fire Chief. I'm their Fire Chief. ❞
The fire chief is the highest-ranking officer
in the fire department . He or she is directly
responsible for the efficient operation of the
fire department , and has control of all of its
personnel and activities .
