(Kuruma P.O.V)
How many days has it been since I left my kingdom? I wouldn't know, I'm too excited to think about that!! Today will be the first day at the academy! I'll be entering a dojo for the first time. And I'll be using swords withuot anyone taking them away!!! I'm actually feeling happy!!
The knight, or as he told me to refer him to as Chris-san, said that his brother owns the dojo. Chris-san's brother is a well trained swordsman and a great teacher, according to what the people of Hotaru Village said. I feel like I can become a great swordswoman and take over the dojo.
But now I realize, I'm just a little 9 year old. What if my skill is nothing compared to the people at the academy? What if the people at the academy are mean and abusive? Will I actually become a great swordswoman? Maybe. I should stop overreacting. I'll be fine.
And I just realize I'm still in bed. My long purple hair is sticking out in different directions, dried drool is shown on the side of my cheek, and my blanket's all over the place. I don't consider myself a real princess anymore. The past is in the past, and I'm starting off my new future looking like a monster.
There's no servants to help me change and comb my hair. But I can do that on my own.

"Good morning Kuruma-chan." the knight, Chris, greets the little kid. "Good morning Chris-san." Kuruma plopped herself onto a chair and starts to eat some toast. "Ready for the first day of academy?" Chris chuckled. Kuruma stopped eating her toast, looked up at him, and stared at him. Then she nodded her head slowly. "Ok tell me what's wrong. Just blurt out all of your problems." Chris sighed. Kuruma took in a deep breath and...
"IS MY HAIR OK? DO I LOOK LIKE A MONSTER? HAVE YOU SEEN MY TOOTHBRUSH? WHERE ARE MY SWORDS? AM I READY? WHERE'S THE DOJO? WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? ARE THE PEOPLE THERE MEAN? WILL PEOPLE RECOGNIZE ME AS A PRINCESS? CAN I HAVE SOME WATER??!?!"
"It's fine. No you don't. In the bathroom. In the closet. Yes you are. Up the hill. A dojo. No they're probably nice. No they probably won't. Yes you can."
"Phew, that felt good." Kuruma sighed with relief and poured herself some water. "Why are you so worked up in the morning?" Chris chuckled. "Well I just left the kingdom here my home was. I never explored before and I'm not sure how other people would act." Kuruma sighed again. "You'll be fine. Just act normal, throw away all the royal stuff behind your back." Chris patted her head. "Alright. I'll go get my swords." Kuruma got up to get her two beloved swords.
When she opened the closet, she took a few seconds to look at how the swords glistened. She smiled and took them out of the closet. Nidai Kitetsu was strapped onto her hip while Asa was swung onto her back. "I'm ready!" Kuruma grinned. "I can get 500 beli that people would be looking more at your swords than your face." Chris laughed.

The trip towards the dojo was so long. But for Kuruma, it felt like hours. Many people stared at her. They were either amazed or surprised. They were either amazed that a little girl with two famous swords was walking through the village, or surprised that a little girl managed to get her hands on two famous swords and was able to hold them.
Finally they made it up the hill and into the dojo.
"Riku, I have a new student for you." Chris waved. "Oh, Chris-nii. You really brought someone to the dojo? Who is it this time?" Riku raised an eyebrow. "This is Kuruma." Chris lightly pushed Kuruma forward. She saw a dozen of eyes look at her. All of them belonged to boys. Immediately, she started to sweat and tense up. "H-Hello.." Kuruma nerouvsly said. She looked up. Some boys were looking at her face and started to blush. Others were looking at her swords and their eyes twinkled.
