"KURUMA!!!! Bring me some food!!!"
"KURUMA!!!!! Bring me some water!!!!"
"KURUMA!!!! Try to be cute for once!!!"
"KURUMA!!! Your friends are being too wild!!!"
"KURUMA!!!"
"KURUMA!!!!"
"KURUMA!!!!"
Perona's shouting and demanding voice echoed through Kuruma's head. Sweat poured down her face and Kuruma's hair started to look frazzled and stood in different directions. Her eyes started to have small bags underneath them and her eyes had a small hint of red in them.
Ever since Perona came to the island and met Kuruma, the young swordswoman didn't get any sleep. She only had a little time to train.
Instead of training, Kuruma would be rushing back and forth to get food and water and cute things, anything to satisfy Perona's needs. Mihawk would sometimes give her questioning looks when she ran back and forth, inside and out of the castle.
Without any sleep, Kuruma had many mood swings. Her mood swings can make her grumpy, angry, or even hysterical. Most of the time she was grumpy.....very grumpy. Everyday would be a bad, sleep deprived day for her.
Today was no different.
Perona was in the forest and sitting on a rock. It didn't really look like a rock anymore, it was painted a light pink color and small pieces of confetti topped the rock's surface. Stuffed animals surrounded the rock as well. The ghost girl was fawning over a toy cat. Kuruma was standing near the rock and staring at the sky, starting to doze off.
"KURUMA!!!" Perona interuppted her. The swordswoman flinched and jumped a little when Perona's shout echoed through the area. "Not so loud." Kuruma sighed. Perona stuck her nose up in the air. "You know, you can always sound a bit nicer. You can leave now. I'll send a friend if I need you." Perona sternly said before directing her attention back to the toys.
Without hesitation, Kuruma sprinted out of the area and towards the castle. "This is such a relief." Kuruma sighed with relief. Finally, she had a chance to escape the ghost girl. She was still tired, grumpy, and hurting all over. But she didn't stop. She wouldn't allow it.
Wind ran through her hair again. This time, she enjoyed it. She enjoyed it like she used to. She had no tasks to do for Perona. It's been a while since Kuruma enjoyed the wind going through her hair while sprinting,
She ran up the hill towards the castle's huge doors. A huge smile appeared on Kuruma's feet. Kicking the doors open, she ran into the room in front of her and tripped over the carpet.
At least it was the carpet she tripped on and not the grass.
She chuckled quietly as she brushed the dust off her clothes. "Back inside the castle, finally." Kuruma grinned. Her eyes started to get heavy. "I might just take a nap on the carpet. Hopefully no one thinks I passed out after being drunk of wine."
Her eyes barely closed when she heard footsteps. She grunted, a scowl appearing on her face for a few seconds. Slowly she got up to her knees as the footsteps behind her got louder. When the footsteps suddenly stopped and she felt something behind her, she turned around.
Dracule Mihawk. The one she's been living with for many years. Her mentor, guardian, and friend.
It wasn't that long since they started to talk again. But she wasn't that fun and childish adult she was before she started to ignore him. Instead, she was a fun but more mature adult. Mihawk remained as the silent swordsman.
