"Hey, Babe." Arms wrapped around Artemis' shoulders.
She looked up from the dinosaur of a computer that her family had had since forever. "Hey, Ronnie. What's up?"
"I came by to make up for missing our anniversary yesterday."
"It wasn't that big of a deal. Your summer football team of little boys had a game yesterday and won. You're their coach, you had to celebrate with them."
"I know. But we've been together exactly two years as of yesterday. That's big. I should've been there."
Artemis shrugged. "Well, you're here now."
"Yes I am. I'll make it up to you, I swear. C'mon." He pulled her up and lead her to her bed. They sat down and Ronnie leaned forward, putting his lips on hers. As he got more passionate, he reached up her shirt. Then he changed his mind and just slipped it off.
Artemis shuddered as the cool air hit her now bare stomach. She pulled away. "Ronnie-"
His lips were back on her and he slid his fingers under the elastic of her pants. Then her underwear. She pulled away again and wrestled his hands off of her. "No, Ronnie."
The young "man" rolled his eyes. "We've done this before, Babe. So many times that I've lost count of how many. Suck it up." He started kissing her again.
When she pulled away again, he sighed. "Arty-" He shook his head and got up. He pulled a pair of handcuffs from his pocket and cuffed her wrists to the bedpost.
Her eyes widened. What was he gonna do? He kissed her again. "It's alright, Baby. I'm just gonna make up for missing our anniversary. It'll be fun, I promise." He slipped a gag into her mouth. "Sorry, Babe. But that's just for extra caution."
Artemis was immediately panicked. 'No, no, no, no, no, no!' Ronnie straddled her and started to unbutton her pants.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "Artemis! Ronnie! Mom said to come to dinner!" Apollo called.
"We'll be there in a few minutes!" Ronnie called back.
"Come now. And Arty, why the silence? You always ask what's for dinner."
Artemis shot her sorry excuse for a boyfriend a look. Still hearing no response from his sister, Apollo called, "Artemis? Are you ok?"
Ronnie leaned over. "Tell him you're fine and to give us a couple minutes," He hissed in her ear.
She nodded vigorously, remembering what Cam had told her months ago. Ronnie pulled the gag out of her mouth and she screamed, "Help! Apollo, hel-" Ronnie shoved the gag back in her mouth.
"You little b****!" He slapped her cheek. He had barely managed to undo her pants before Apollo knocked him to the ground. He put a foot on the jerk and looked at his twin sister.
"Are you ok, Sis?"
Artemis nodded, still in shock.
"You might wanna button and zip your pants back up." Artemis did so. Apollo grabbed his phone from his pocket.
"What are you doing?"
"Calling Ollie. Mom! Jade! Andy!"
Apollo explained what he could to Oliver and hung up. The other Nguyen-Crocks reached the room in time to hear what Apollo said to Ollie. Paula and Jade checked on Artemis and Andy immediately knocked Ronnie's lights out. He then handed Artemis her shirt.
Paula shooed the boys out of the room and she and Jade looked Artemis over. Artemis slipped her shirt back on.
Then Ronnie woke back up. He got up and growled, "Bi-" There was a blur and he fell to the ground, unconscious again.
"Ba****," The redhead said, shaking out his fist. He looked furious, like he wanted to do more, but he held back.
"Wally?!" Artemis said in shock. Jade slipped out of the window, unnoticed.
"Yep. The Wall-man is here!"
"Why is that, exactly?"
"Oliver sent me." He rushed over and hugged Artemis. "Are you ok?"
Arty nodded. "Yeah. Apollo got here before he could really do anything."
"Good. Ollie also called the cops so they should be here eventually."
"Great."
The cops arrived, asked questions, and arrested Ronnie for domestic violence and sexual assault. He'd have a trial soon. His parents checked several times to make sure that Artemis was ok. They were absolutely furious with their son, and glad Artemis was as ok as she could be after that.
Artemis and Wally got together that night- finally. Artemis was out of Ronnie's clutches and in Wally's loving arms, and she couldn't be happier about it.
