A/N Not my pictures, I suck at art, I just used genderbend fanart. In my head, Apollo looks a lot like he does in the top pic. Also, I admit that I did cut of some of the art, but it was only to make it a conversation that made sense for this book, and to only have the uniform since I already showed you what he looks like. (We all already know what Arty's uniform looks like.) Hope that you don't mind. Song is Swan Song by Dua Lipa.🙂

"Hey, everyone," Oliver said as he, Dinah, and the twins walked out of the zeta tubes. "I'd like you to meet my new protégés, Apollo and Artemis."

"Cool!" Boy Wonder exclaimed. "Nice to meet you guys. I assume further introductions aren't necessary. You guys joining the team?"

"Yep!" Apollo said with a smile.

"Nice!"

"Finally, another girl on the Team," Miss Martian said with a huge grin. "I was starting to wonder whether or not we'd end up with one." Artemis gave her a small smile. Sure, she was excited to join the Team, but currently they were a bunch of people that she didn't know.

"Yeah, she doesn't talk," Apollo teased. "She just silently judges you."

"Oh, shut up," Artemis replied, rolling her eyes. "Sorry about my brother, he thinks he's hilarious."

"That's because I am, Sister Dear."

Miss Martian laughed. "I can't wait until you two meet Kid Flash. You'll get along famously."

As if on cue, the zeta tube stated, "Recognized, Kid Flash, B03."

Kid Flash ran in, dressed in beach clothes. "The Wall-man is here! Now, let's get this party star-" He tripped, and his beach ball bounced and he realized that members of the Justice League were present. "-ted." He finished. He got to his feet awkwardly.

"Wall-man, huh?" Artemis said. "Love the uniform. What exactly are your powers?"

"Uh, who is this?"

"Artemis, your new teammate."

Apollo, attempting to ease the tension, said, "And I'm Apollo, your other new teammate." Wally smiled at him. At least he was friendly.

"I'm Kid Flash. I've never heard heard of either of you."

"We're his niece and nephew," The twins said in unison.

At the same time, Green Arrow said, "They're my niece and nephew." Only GA added, "They're my new protégés."

"What happened to your old one?!"

"Recognized, Speedy, B06," Proclaimed the zeta tubes.

"Well, for starters, he doesn't go by Speedy anymore. Call me Red Arrow," Said the hero in question.

"Roy!" GA exclaimed. "You look-"

"Replaceable," Roy said, annoyed that his position had been filled so quickly.

"It wasn't like that. You went solo, so-"

"So why waste time finding a sub, or two in this case. Can they even use those bows?"

"Yes, they can," Artemis snapped.

Apollo stepped in. "Ok, ok. I know it probably doesn't feel so great to have been GA's protégé for three years and then be replaced in a month. But, there's no need to get aggressive and start insulting my sister and I before actually meeting us. Do you even know our names?" That shut Roy up. "Thank you." Apollo said with a smile. "I'm Apollo, this is my sister, Artemis. And like my sister rudely said, we can indeed shoot. We probably wouldn't be GA's new sidekicks if we couldn't." Roy nodded. Artemis just rolled her eyes. "My sister is kind of a b, though."

"HEY!" Just about everyone else laughed. Artemis looked offended for a minute then she just pouted and nodded. "He is kinda right, I guess."

Apollo laughed. "Kinda? You guess?"

"Shut up. Good god, brothers are annoying."

"You know you love me," Apollo said teasingly. Artemis rolled her eyes again. She had a tendency to do that.

"Whatever," She said.

"You must have come here for a reason," Aqualad said.

"Yeah, a reason named Dr. Serling Roquette," A/N I'm certain that I spelled that wrong.

"Nanorobotics genius and claytronics genius at Royal University in Star City!" Robin exclaimed, pulling up information on his hologlove. Vanished two weeks ago."

"Abducted two weeks ago. By the Shadows."

"Wow, you want us to rescue her from the Shadows?"

"Hardcore," Kid Flash adding, sharing a handshake with Boy Wonder.

"Already rescued her," Red Arrow stated. "Only one problem: the Shadows had already coerced her into making a weapon. Doc calls it the Fog. Comprised of millions of microscopic robots. Nanotech infiltrators. Capable of disintegrating anything in their path. Concrete, steel, flesh, bone. But its true purpose isn't mere destruction, it's theft. The infiltrators eat and store raw data from any computer system, and deliver the stolen intel to the Shadows. Providing them with weapons, strategic defense, cutting edge science and tech."

"Perfect for extortion, manipulation, powerbroking," Artemis said. "Yeah. Sounds like the Shadows."

"How do you know anything about the Shadows?" Kid Flash asked. Artemis only gave him a cocky smile in reply. "Oh, come on!"

"Dr. Roquette is working on a virus to render the Fog inert." Roy said.

"But if the Shadows know she can do that..." Boy Wonder started, his voice trailing off.

"They'll target her. Right now, she's off the grid. I stashed her at the local high school's computer lab."

"You left her alone?" Oliver questioned.

"She's safe enough for now."

"Well then, let's you and I keep her that way."

"You and I? Don't you wanna take your new protégés?" Apparently, Roy was still a little bitter over the whole "replacement" thing. (Can you blame him?)

"You brought this to the Team. This is their mission now. And that makes it theirs now, too."

Red Arrow scoffed. "Then my job's done." He walked over to the zeta tubes.

"Recognized, Speedy, B06."

"Red Arrow, B06. Update." Roy disappeared, teleporting away.

Kid Flash and Artemis glared at each other, an unasked for tension and hatred for the other clearly starting to flow into both of them.

"So," Apollo said brightly, as usual. "I guess we have a mission, guys."

A/N So I hope that you like it (even though it's really just the scene from Infiltrator). Have a good day, night, ect. God bless!

-Emma
