Goodbyes aren't always easy. Koushi swore not to cry in their Graduation but who was he kidding? Leaving after years of making memories with people he grew so close to was incredibly hard. Having to study at an environment far from the things he used to be surrounded in was even harder. Hardest part? He will be separated from Daichi. The reliable captain was the one who wiped his tears when he was crying and held him the entire time. Sugawara knew that sometime in their life they had to part. And it was that moment. Their final moment. "Koushi, this I promise you," Daichi had looked him in the eyes, hands wrapped around his body with their foreheads against each other's. "We'll make this work and we'll stay together." And they did. Succesfully, they did. Still do. After graduating, both went on about their daily lives, studied and worked without forgetting the other. They would call, text, most of the time would meet up because the first two weren't enough. It may be difficult to keep in touch at first, but they were never distant in hearts therefore the couple managed in the long run. Daichi had kept his promise, as expected from the leader he will always be. They are inseparable now. Sawamura just have to make ties with his silver haired highschool sweetheart and they will be for eternal.
