They used to be champions able enough to qualify their powerhouse school all the way to the nationals. They were feared by many, considered to be the biggest threat nothing could ever beat. Enemy. Target. Hunters like the eagles they symbolize. For ages of time that has been Shiratorizawa's sense of total pride. It's where your boyfriend studies. The school he's represented far too many times as the ace. Everyone thought it would be an easy win for them. Everyone thought it will be them playing to the nationals. It seemed that the tables have turned because for the first time, the strong and powerful Ushijima lost to an orange haired athlete who was a mere five footer only. The battle was all but history. Ushijima came home the same day with his face devoid of emotion. You could not read him for it felt as if he put his guard up, not letting anyone see through what he truly feels inside. You gathered the gloomy man to your arms instead, pressed yourself as close as possible to his stiffened body. "You did great," he heard you still despite of your muffled voice. "I saw it on TV," you brushed your cheek on his clothed chest. Wakatoshi itched to pat your hair, but the defeat finally settled in and took over. Silent sniffles was audible by then, and you lifted your head to wipe every tear he sheds. "Remember that you didn't lost," you fixed his stray hair. You meet his watery eyes, placing a hand on his reddish cheek. "You learned."
