A characteristic that will always run in Mad Dog's blood is his offending attitude. Poor anger-management issues which leads him to having even poor relationships amongst the people he is with. To be brutally honest, it was never Kyoutani's priority to make any friends. The idea of pals and buddies didn't once interested him, in fact being alone is. Positivity is nowhere in his vocabulary and that's likely to be the reason why he has no idea what it's like to be happy. To smile and to make someone smile. To laugh out loud, to live with no hatred. Yahaba showed him what exactly are those like. He didn't leave his side even once when the team turn their back on him, when the entire Aoba Johsai avoided him, times when Kyoutani's being a pain in the arse. Shigeru proved Kentarou's belief of people wrong. That's how the boy wormed his way into the hothead of a jerk's heart. Slow at a time, Kyoutani lets him in. The feeling was so new but it's something he wished he had always felt before. Love. And only Shigeru brought that out. "Woah, hold up. You're saying you're together now? How man? I mean—," Kindaichi blabbered, stunned when the two officially announced to the team that they were a thing. "Do you have a problem with that?," Kyoutani's quick to snap right back. Yahaba gave him a look, and almost immediately he collected himself. "Y-yes. We're dating," He confirmed firmly. All eyes widened in shock. Oikawa's. Iwaizumi's.
