Chapter 3

Lisa fought with her parents one night when she decided to go into a prestigious university with a dormitory, saying she really wanted to do everything that she wants before she dies. Her parents Marco and Carol can’t do anything about but to agree, as much as they want Lisa to stay at their house to watch after her, they can’t do anything about her now that she kneeled in front of them

“Please mom and dad, it will be a memorable experience for me before I die. Being in a university like a normal college student” Lisa pleaded and sits up straight

“But what if something will happen to you?!”

“Mom I can take care of myself”

“But-

“Please it’s also for me, I wanted to do everything that I want before I die” Lisa said and looked away, it seems so easy for her to say the word “die” in front of her parents.

She had long accepted her unfortunate fate, it doesn’t scare her anymore but rather she’s already prepared for it. Lisa knew she’s not in capable of giving Jennie a future with her, that’s why she decided to enrol in a university where Jennie has no chance of entering because she’s too tired to study for the entrance exams.

She wanted to avoid Jennie as long as she can, even if it’s really killing her on the inside to be away from Jennie.

She can’t help it, she’s dying..in any day, in any hour

But she still wanted to see Jennie one last time before she finally step up to college. Today was their graduation day, Lisa was looking around the area with her parents on her side to look for Jennie

She got shocked when someone smacks her head with their diploma “Who are you looking for huh? Me?”

Jennie’s smiling face welcomed her, she looked really beautiful today in Lisa’s eyes. Maybe because today may be the last time she will see Jennie.

“Nothing” she lied

“Is that so?” Jennie hummed as she cling her hand on Lisa’s arm.

Lisa bits her lip as she tried to stop her tears, no she can’t cry. She can’t let Jennie see her cry, not on this day they finally graduated, not when Jennie is so happy.

“Did you got accepted in any of the colleges you took an exam?”  she asks as they walk outside their school, leaving their parents behind

“Nah no, I failed all of them. Last minute cramming didn’t help me pass any of the exams. I’m too tired to study you know” Jennie answered

Lisa only nodded, as expected Jennie will not go in the same university with her in college. Everything is going under her plan, now she don’t need to worry about Jennie getting hurt anymore when she die, they finally got separated, for the first time

“Then what will you do after?”

“Hmm maybe I’ll audition in YG entertainment to be an idol” Jennie laughed

Lisa raised her one eyebrow as she looks at her girlfriend laughing at her own joke “You know it’s impossible” she chuckled and pokes Jennie’s forehead

“Yah! It is! I will really audition”  Jennie shouted and soon pouts, looking at Lisa’s pair of brown eyes deep. She took a deep breath “Well I guess high school was the last time I could be with you”
