Broke up
“What are you doing here?” Lisa asked Jennie as the latter seated beside her, she gazed at the clear sky above them where millions of stars are shining
“I saw you walking in here so I followed you. What are you doing here anyway? It’s cold” Jennie shivered and hugs her knees when a cold wind passes by in the rooftop of their school.
“I wanted to be alone” Lisa answered
“Hmm really? I miss you too” Jennie hummed and hugs Lisa on her side
Lisa sighed and pushes Jennie slowly away “Are you listening? I said I wanted to be alone Jennie”
“Hmm what?” the older one leaned her head on her shoulder and intertwined their fingers
“You’re not listening to me” Lisa looked away
“Why do you want to be alone here anyway? Are you thinking of something?” Jennie stopped for a moment and gasped in realization.
She suddenly punched Lisa’s face, making the younger one’s eyes widened in surprise and stumbled on the ground
“What the fuck?! Why did you punch me?! Are you crazy?!”
“You’re not thinking of committing suicide aren’t you?! Because if that is, I swear I will kill you Lisa!”
“What?! What the hell are you talking about?!”
Lisa stood up while massaging her jaw Jennie just punched and faced her already glaring girlfriend
“Then why are you here? Precisely in our rooftop? Huh?”
Lisa rolled her eyes “Tss I am here because I wanted to see the stars and I wanted to be alone! What suicide are you talking about when I am dying anyway” she said and seated again on the pavement
Jennie suddenly felt sad, no she will never accept the truth that Lisa is dying, that Lisa may disappear permanently in her life. She’s denial. She can’t accept the truth
“Don’t you dare say that, you’re not gonna die” she said softly and seated again on her girlfriend’s side. She cupped both Lisa’s cheeks with both of her hands and took a quick peck on her lips “You will not die Lisa, I promise you that”
Lisa let out a sarcastic laugh “But I am Nini, you should accept it. I can’t-”
“Don’t call me Nini when you’re just gonna leave me. Don’t you dare say goodbye to me, I swear I will kill you Lisa, I swear I will. Don’t leave me.. I will die” Jennie sobs and kissed Lisa’s forehead
The younger one’s heart really ached so bad, see that? Jennie will really die in pain if she will permanently leave her behind. No she doesn’t want that
Instead of hugging back her girlfriend and assure her she’s not gonna leave her, she pushes Jennie away and stands up
“Lisa?”
She took a deep breath “I kiss Chaeyoung today Jennie”
Now she finally decided, she would really break up with Jennie. Lisa twisted the truth, she knows Jennie would believe her lie is she says she kissed someone, and especially Chaeyoung, her closest friend
“Don’t lie to me” Jennie asked in disbelief and went in front of Lisa
The taller one stared straight into the smaller one’s eyes, indicating she is really saying the truth well in fact, she’s not. She’s only using it to break up with Jennie, she knew how jealous and possessive Jennie is over her so this may seem to work out for Lisa
