wenhan successfully escaped chunhua from that stinky basement without any of the currant nor crimson members knowing, and that includes yiren

wenhan quickly started the engine and bolted out of the base, he already knew the directions upon going at the mint and magenta's base so he doesn't have to bother the tired chunhua

"why are you doing this to me?", chunhua broke the silence by asking

wenhan shrugged, "no reason."

chunhua fake laughed, "you need to have reasons why you're doing this to me. you're from the enemy after all, it's too weird having you suddenly acting like this."

wenhan sighed,

"i don't want to fight. i don't like the war. it's better to talk things out rather than using those shitty weapons and bombs. we could actually be sacrificing innocent people because of this mess."

chunhua nodded, "you're right, we're not actually fond of fighting too but if we could then why not."

wenhan remained silent after that statement from chunhua. chunhua tried to open up a topic once again though she knew it would be too awkward to ask this but she risked anyway.

"perhaps..", chunhua looked at the guy's direction and narrowed her eyes, "you like me that's why you're doing this?"

wenhan suddenly choked from his own saliva which made him cough, "i don't like you! i'm just doing this out of pity for goodness sake!"

"calm down, i'm sorry", chunhua replied and bit her lower lip

"why does everyone make my pity turn into something weird? i've experienced this for a few times already!", wenhan complained, glaring on the road in front of him

chunhua pouted, "uhm because you're handsome?"

wenhan furrowed his eyebrows, "well, if you can see me that way then thank you but i'm sorry i can't date you."

chunhua chuckled, "you don't have to"

"oh so you're already taken, am i right?"

"someone's courting me but he doesn't know i have a boyfriend already", chunhua laughed, "i was trying to tell him he can't date me but he'd just-"

"he'd go ahead of your words?", wenhan continued chunhua's remaining words but it's more of a question since he's not sure too

chunhua nodded, "you're right, just like you."

wenhan fake laughed as he stopped the car in front of a wide gate, "is this your base?"

"how did you know? this is just the right place!", chunhua cheered as she bobbed her head outside the car's window and waved her hand towards the cctv

meanwhile, xiao gui who was looking through the videos noticed the unusual car outside, he zoomed in the video and saw an unexpected woman to arrive

he quickly screamed through the microphone, getting the attention of everyone through the speakers installed in each room,

different screams were heard from the base, she could already feel the commotion inside even though she's still outside of their base

someone suddenly went out of the base in a full gear and approached chunhua's direction, "is this not a trap?"

zhengting glared at the guy which he quickly noticed who and nodded, "come inside."

hanyu approached chunyang who was currently eating at the kitchen and inquired, "why are you here? you're supposed to be at the basement."

renyi entered the house and greeted hanyu and chunyang from a far who cared less by her presence

chunyang munched the food and smiled, "wenhan ge was there to look after the hostages!"

"wenhan? like Li Wenhan?", changxi suddenly inquired who happened to trail behind hanyu

chunyang nodded, hanyu suddenly slammed the table which gave chunyang a mere amount of shock

"HIS CAR IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! WHERE DO YOU THINK HE IS?", hanyu raged at the youngest

the rest of the members noticed the situation, some of them wanted to interfere but changxi prohibited them not to

"he told us to have a twelve-hour rest", wenxuan commented, standing beside chunyang

"SHIT! THAT TWELVE-HOUR REST IS A TRAP! ONE OF OUR HOSTAGES ESCAPED! AND I'M POSITIVE IT IS BECAUSE OF LI WENHAN!"

changxi caressed hanyu's back, "calm down"

chunyang was petrified by hanyu's action but wenxuan defended him anyways, "HOW ARE YOU SO SURE? YOU DON'T HAVE ANY EVIDENCES!"

changxi saw ziming by the stairs, "hey ziming! look through the cctv's contents and find anything that could lead for wenhan's betrayal."

"me?", ziming pointed at himself, confused by the sudden order

"who else?", changxi rolled his eyes

ziming didn't followed his orders anyways since it's not from wenhan

"wenhan ge's never gonna do that", yao chi suddenly commented which the rest of the crimson members around quickly agreed

wang yi suddenly went out of his room and screamed, "WELL SURPRISE BITCHES! WE SAW AN EVIDENCE! HE BETRAYED!"
