My phone started buzzing continuously so I pick it up.It's my grandma.

"Hello?"

"Jahseh,it's your grandma.I have bad news for you."
...
"Your dad is in critical condition,he may die of a heartattack he had last night."

"What?!"

"Yes...I will send you the adress of the hospital,if you want to visit him,come."

"No."

I hung up.

"Is everything alright Jah?" Aspen says with a concerned face on.

"Yeah.."

"Really?"

"Yes,everything's alright."

"If you want to talk about it,feel free to come to me." Aspen says in a husky low tone.

I just nod to her.

"I'm not really hungry anymore.I will be up in my room." I said to her mom.

"Me either." I overheard Aspen say and footsteps rushed behind me.

I left my door open because I knew she would come in.I saw her from my bed first running in her room then to mine.She held a giant chocolate in a plastic wrap while she sat next to me.She opened it and extended her hand for me to grab some.

"Nah,you keep it to yourself." I say as I lay back.

"Boy,if you dont grab some right now." She thretens.

"You such a pain in the ass Aspen." I say as I grab some.

"But you love me just the way I am,now don't you?" She makes a stupid face.

"Yeah,I do..." I stuff my face.

"You do?" She furrows her eyebrows in surprise.

"Why wouldn't I? I mean,you are beautiful,you have a nice personality,just a lil bit dumb,not too much though-" I get cut off to her hitting me.

"Hey!Stop that." I say while she tickles me.

I grab her hands and her body slams against mine.We are face to face,and I can't keep but stare into her beautiful eyes.

"Oh....Um..." She awkwards mutters "I should go..."

"No." I stop her "Stay."

She fell asleep on my chest as we talked.I decided to tell her everything.I know I can trust her and only her.She listened and shared my despair.She held me close while tears rushed down my cheeks.She was there for me,and I can't thank her enough.

I'm so thankful to have someone like her by my side,even as a friend.I developed feelings for her,it's clear.This girl was my everything since we were kids.We started acting like strangers when we grew up since we were so different.But now I know,we arent.We went through the same things,but we both stood strong for our siblings.She got me all sorts of fucked up when I think about not having her by my side.I fucked up when I took advantage of her,but remembering us together that way,warms my heart.

She can hate me all she wants,but I most certainly am not giving up.Now,I'm scared of loosing her.She demanded I go and visit my father at the hospital,and I will do it for her,not for myself.She wants to go with me.I respect her so I wont disrespect her by saying no.Im no good for her,and I know it.
