Chemistry.Fuck it.I always sleep in this class and so does the teacher,but today,she's wide awake.
Aspen is still mad at me.She sat across the room.I can see her staring at my back in the mirror we have in the class.She seems...Sad?I've never seen this girl facing this emotion.She is always smiling and beautiful.She seems down today.
"X,you still here?" Craig asks me.
"Yeah,just a little lost in my thoughts." I turn around to face him.
"Aspen?" He asks.
"Nah.Cleo." I lie.
"Oh shit,sorry vro." He tried to turn back what he said.
"It's okay,it doesnt hurt." I lie again.
The conversation stopped,and I turned around to look in the mirror where Aspen was sitting.She's not looking down.I can see tears rolling down her cheeks.Her lips got plumper and her face got redder.Fuck I can't watch this.
It brought tears to my eyes too.I know what she's thinking about.I feel the same.I can't watch her like this.I want to go there and hold her like she held me.On the other hand,I know she's very strong,and can go through this alone,but I don't want to let her.
"Silence!" The teacher yelled "I'm giving out group projects.I'm picking who's with who to let you know right away!"
Everyone started making noise and rolling their eyes.
"I said silence!You pick your own subject on whatever you want,the turn in date is 20th September,until then,you won't have Chemistry because I'm taking time off of work." Everyone started cheering "There must be 3 people for one project.The only rule is that all of you must do the exact same amount of work.No more being lazy!So Jahseh,Aspen and Nadya are going to be group number one-"
"Oh hell no.I'm not doing shit with her." Aspen yelled back.
She's gonna get in trouble.I can feel it.
"Who are you to decide?Detention!Go to the head office." The teacher yelled to Aspen.
"Fuck no I'm not doing work with her either!" I scream also trying to get detention.
"Both of you,the head office,now.There won't be anything changed.You three are doing that damn project,and that's the end of it."
She looks at me even more angry.She knows what I'm doing.I just smile to myself.
○○Aspen POV○○
He's so fucking annoying.He is tryna get into detention cause of me and cause I didnt forgive him.On top of that,I gotta do a project with his ugly ass and that dumb annoying bitch that has a weird crush on him.I hate her so much.But why?I'm confused,sad and frustrated at the same time.
I slam the door open as I get my thoughts together.He laid a hand on my shoulder,and when the door closed I turned around and slapped him.
"What is your problem?Get away from me already!" I whisper-yell.
"Ouch." He rubs his cheek.
I turn around and start power-walking.
"Why are you even mad at me?" He asks out of spite.
"You carried me,and just because I was there for you last night,doesn't mean I forgot how you took advantage of me." Is ay still walking.
"No I didnt!" He screams
I turn around to look at him to see he is right behind me "Let's not do this is school.Try to stay calm for the head teacher." He just nods and follows me upstairs.

We got detention for a week.They let us go back home,and she just doesnt want to talk to me.Her headphones are plugged in and she's starring at the ground.
"Aspen?" I try to start up a conversation "You okay?"
"Do not talk to me." She says frustarted.
"Aspen,you can't keep this up.You know we live together right?" I try to talk to her again.
"Yes I can and yes I will." She spits.
She starts walking faster then me attempting to get away.I run up behind her,turn her around and put her on my shoulder again.
"If you gonna have an attitude with me,I wont let you down I promise." I say with her screaming and hitting my back with her fists but it doesnt hurt.
"Put me down!Jahseh!!" She screamed in laughter.
"Nah." I say walking home.

"What do you kids want for lunch?" Aspen's mom asked Jahseh,Elijah and me.
"Doesnt matter.If it's food I'm gonna eat it." Jahseh said.
"Don't say that.She gon pull shit out of the toilet." Elijah says and both of us laugh.
"For real though." I reply.
My phone buzzes continuously so I pull it out.It's my grandma.
"Hello?"
...
"What?!"
