I walked into the Master's study in response to his summon. Bowing lightly, I announced my presence. "Master."

"Eagle, my boy. You know there is no such need for formalities while we're in here." He was looking for a book when I entered and didn't stop his search to look at me.

"Of course. What is it that you wish to speak to me about?"

The Master found his book and took it out, finally turning to look at me. His grey hair and beard framed his face as he gently smiled at me. "We've learnt that several people of intrigue are attending Beacon Academy this year."

"May I ask who they are?"

He chuckled, amused by my unwavering formality. "You may. They are Pyrrha Nikos, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and just recently added to the roster, one Ruby Rose."

I tilted my head, trying to think of why those four people are cause of such intrigue. "May I ask why they are of such intrigue?"

"Of course. Pyrrha Nikos, as you may know, is a world-renowned fighter. Her family also quietly support the Creed. Her older brother is actually one of us. Weiss Schnee is the daughter of Jacques Schnee, an established Templar. We are afraid she is one, too. Blake Belladonna is, or rather was, a part of the White Fang, an Assassin-backed now turned Templar-backed terrorist group. She used to date their flagship hero, Adam Taurus, a Templar agent. And as for Ruby Rose, it isn't so much herself but rather her bloodline."

"Oh?"

The Master smirked and drew a scroll from a wall full of them and rolled it out on the low-lying table in the middle of the room. Waving me over, he pointed at something. "Come, my boy. Come look at this."

I walked over and saw Ruby Rose's family tree. "Ruby Rose's family tree?"

"Yes! And look at who her mother is." I looked.

"Summer Rose? Wait, wasn't she one of us?"

The Master smirked. "Yes, she was. And look up here!" He pointed at a picture further up the girl's tree.

I looked at it and saw Connor Kenway. "Connor Kenway."

He then pointed at a different photo.

"Edward Kenway, as expected."

He then moved over and pointed at a different photo yet again. "Arno Dorian."

He then pointed at a different photo fairly far up her tree. "Ezio Auditore."

He then pointed at one last photo. "Altair Ibn-La'Ahad."

The Master then looked up at me, smiling. "What are your thoughts about the girl now?"

"That she's a natural born Assassin."

"Exactly! That, along with the other three, is why we are sending you along with one other Assassin to Beacon Academy to pose as students. Assess the situation, try to bend them to our cause if possible, and train Ruby into becoming an Assassin without her even knowing it. I know you two can do it."

I nodded. "I understand. Who will be my comrade for this mission?"

The Master simply smiled and waved someone in. Turning around, I saw my sister standing in the doorway, her katana strapped to her hip.

"Wait, Daphne? You're my partner?"

She nodded.

"I see. When do we leave, Master?" I gazed at The Master.

"Now. The ship that will take you to Beacon leaves at 1 PM."

I bowed. "Understood. Farewell, Master, and may Good Health smile upon you."
