Valentine's Day

I guess I thought this would be fun to try out. They all get a diary entries.

WARNING: Gina's and Rosa's are a bit suggestive. Not smutty, but definitely suggestive.

Amy's Diary Entry

Dear Diary,

Valentines Day is tomorrow. And obviously I have gained the courage to talk to Jake. So I'm gonna be alone tomorrow. It's ok though, I think

Charles is making us hang out at Shaw's so we can ignore the fact that we're alone. Gina already was going to get her nails done, but the rest of us should be there.

Jake is going to kill me. Charles came into Shaw's today with a very red faced Jake. Charles happily announced to the group that he had a crush and we were gonna find out who. Gina and Rosa laughed like they already knew and I face planted into the table.

After probably an hour of prodding and narrowing it down, Jake said his crush was Sophia. I have nothing against, Sophia. She seems nice, but Jake didn't seem sincere when he said he liked her.

I'm probably overthinking it and he really does like her. I'm probably just a jealous bitch who doesnt want her crush to like anyone else.

So that's how I'm spending Valentines Day. It's gonna be the worst.

I'll be back tomorrow, but mow is time to continue my homework and studying.

Jake's Diary Entry

Dude wtf did I just do.

Charles somehow found out that I had a crush on someone. Ok it's not surprising. He was all like "you're not spending valentines day with anyone are you?" Because he wanted our group to hang out. So I said "no, I'm never gonna tell her my feeling"

And then I realized what I just said.

So Charles dragged me to shaws and I was obviously super embarrassed. Then he told everyone that he was gonna find out who I had a crush on.

Amy looked like she had better things to do. Gina was laughing. Rosa was acting all smug like she already knew who it was. She probably did.

Then I had a genius idea. I'd just lie. So I told them it was Sophia. Honestly, Sophia's pretty eh. I'd never actually like her.

The thing is the fools fell for it. All of them looked shocked or confused or both.

In the small chance that Amy liked me back a little bit, she would never like me after finding out I was into Sophia.

Ugh. Sophia. I hate valentines day.

Rosa's Diary Entry

I'm gonna ditch them tomorrow, but they dont know except for Gina.

Her mom is going on an overnight trip with her boyfriend, so I'm staying over.

My parents thought it was a nice v day sleepover with my platonic female friend so we could talk about boys. They're so clueless.

I'm gonna be spending some quality time with my girlfriend, little do they know.

Gina's mom trusts us, but doesnt think we're dating. Shes even gonna cover for me and convince my mom and dad that she's at home with us.

Gina's mom is super chill.

Gina's Diary Entry

I'm not getting my nails done. I'm having my girlfriend over so I can have some fun all night long.

That's all I wanted to say. I have more important things to do than write in a diary.

Charles' Diary Entry

Dear Diary,

I'm furious. Jake and Amy are supposed to end up together. I ship them so hard. They should have 3 kids  and live in a nice rural(ish) area and have the most beautiful happily ever after possible.

That can't happen unless Jake and Amy are dating first. So I'm gonna (not so) subtly push Jake away from Sophia and (extremely) subtly push him towards Amy.

I'll tell him about bad stuff she's done. Even if it's a lie, it's for the greater good. If Jake and Amy end up together then all will be well with the world.

Amy's reaction to Jake's announcement was priceless. It was hurt, is was shocked, it was puzzled. It was realizing a "truth" that wasnt really a truth. Her expression was all the confirmation I needed to tell that she is in love with him.

He was lying. I cant be sure, but he was lying. No way is he actually serious about Sophia. Shes not his type. His type is very specific. His type is Amy Santiago. Only her. Nobody else.

Peraltiago forever.

Just thought I'd keep it short and sweet. I need to keep you satisfied and also enjoy my summer. I'm trying to catch up the dates in the story to dates in real life, but that is pretty hard to do when my new chapters are so far apart. Next time I'll be jumping straight to May, but I feel like nothing in between February and then is actually relevant. Not just in the story, but also in reality.
