It's almost midnight when Jade is worriedly pacing back and forth through the appartment that she and Perrie share. Occasionally she looks outside through the window or on her phone, which she is anxiously clutching in her right hand, desperately hoping for a sign of life from her girlfriend. Perrie should've been here hours ago and the longer she stays gone, the more worried Jade gets. Of course Perrie is a grown woman who should be able to take care of herself but that doesn't keep Jade from worrying. Not only is Perrie a grown woman, she is also one of the most famous pop stars at the moment and the darkness outside gives people with bad intentions who want to take advantage of Perrie's position or money the perfect opportunity to strike.

At first Jade wasn't too worried when Perrie didn't get home on time, her girlfriend has never been too punctual and is known to sometimes lose track of the time when she is having fun. Jade actually saw Perrie's absence as a good sign: she was obviously enjoying herself! Unfortunately, after more than an hour of fruitlessly waiting, Jade had gotten mildly concerned and decided to call her girlfriend. Five unanswered calls later, Jade realised that it would be a better idea to try and call Leigh-Anne, who Perrie is supposed to be spending quality time with. To Jade's relief, Leigh-Anne did answer her phone but only to say that Perrie left her house to walk home with Hatchi more than half an hour ago and she hasn't heard from her since. Walking home from Leigh-Anne and Jesy's appartment only should've taken Perrie about fifteen minutes so Jade starts to get seriously worried and immediately calls Jesy to ask if she has any idea where Perrie is. Jesy turns out to be sitting next to Leigh-Anne on the couch and therefore doesn't have any idea where Perrie is either. If Jade had listened to Leigh-Anne for a moment longer, Leigh-Anne would've told her that it would be pointless to call Jesy as she has been with them but Jade was too anxious to wait for Leigh to say that. From that moment on Jade, Leigh-Anne and Jesy kept trying to message and call Perrie but neither of them got any response so by now, more than two hours since she found out Perrie was not with Leigh-Anne or Jesy anymore, Jade is completely freaked out. What if her girlfriend is in danger? What if someone tried to kidnap her? What if she's been hit by a car because she was too caught up with Hatchi to pay attention to the road and the drivers didn't see her soon enough in the dark? A million of the worst possible scenarios are racing through her head and the more she thinks, the more her heart fills with dread.

Jade is just about to call the police when she suddenly hears the front door open and Perrie's ever cheerful voice calling, "Jadey, I'm home!"

Finding that although she's always happy when she gets reunited with her girlfriend, it has never been as reassuring as it is right now, Jade dashes towards Perrie and throws herself in her arms. As soon as she feels Perrie's loving arms wrap around her, she can't help but burst into tears. She's so relieved that Perrie is safely at home and her stress has built up so much that everything just comes out now.

"Oh Pez, y-you're alright! I-I was so scared!" she sobs, clinging on to her girlfriend for dear life while planning to never let her out of her sight ever again.

Perrie looks down at her sobbing girlfriend in confusion. She didn't hear anything of what Jade just said because she was speaking with her head buried into Perrie's chest. Of course it's great that Jade's so happy to see her but what's with the tears?! She wasn't gone for that long... Before she went over to Leigh-Anne and Jesy, she spent a lot of quality time with Jade so she doesn't see any reason for Jade to be this upset... Jade is clinging onto her for dear life and it doesn't seem like she's gonna let go anytime soon so Perrie just returns the hug, holding her tight. Although she doesn't understand why, Jade clearly needs it.
