"Honey bear. Get up." My mom yells through the door. She opens the door and pokes her head through the crack.

Oh no.

She has the spoon.

"I've been trying to get you up for three hours!"

And If you are wondering what the spoon is...it's s wooden cooking spoon, as little kids we out get a spanking with it to help us "remember" not to do something again.

Mom hits her hand with the spoon and walk to me very slowly. "You know, mr. woody has been very lonely lately." My eyes burst open and I hop out of bed over to my window.

"No! I'm up!" I yell.

She laughs and walks out of my bedroom. Never. Piss. Mom. Off. When she has a spoon. I walk into the bathroom and find my hair sticking up in all directions. I decide to shower quick before I text the girls. Hitting play on my playlist and some Post Malone comes on. I start to scrub my hair and body as I think about what the possibility's of today are.

1) I meet the alpha and he hates my guts.
2) I meet a teacher and make a bad impression
3) the whole pack looks down on me and judges me cause I'm human.
4) I make some new friends.
5) I come home straight away and eat ice cream wail watching Netflix and crying my eyes out because a animal died in the movie, so I put in some dumb comedian and start crying of laughter making my stomach so I crawl into bed and over think life and worry about next week which is a new school for me.

I think I like that fifth plan the best.

"YOUR A SUNFLOWER! I THINK YOUR LOVE WOULD BE TOO MUCH!" I scream as the girls yell from my room the song lyrics. Getting out I wrap myself in a towel before walking out to find the girls on their phones.

I look at them and put my hands on my hips, really. They could have gotten creative or talked. But no, their on their phones. "get off your phones." I say taking them and tossing them on the other side o the bed. "This is suppose to be bonding time. Someone find me clothes."

"I've got you boo!" Lexi yells. She walk to my closet and grabs one of my many band tees, that's now a loose crop top on me. She also grabs a pair of jeans that are ripped at my knees and thighs and my black small Nikes.

"Here. It's going to be in the fifty's today." I nod and head to the bathroom to change. I skip to another song and start humming to it. I'll be honest, singing is not my best quality. I did choir in middle school for a year and a half, but I'm pretty sure my teacher hated me. Well hated my voice.

I run through my long hair again with my hands. I should cut it. Its to my hips again. I add some clips to keep it out of my face, assuming we're walking most of the time. I put on some mascara and call it good. It's not like I do any other makeup anyways. My skins always been clear, so I never bothered with makeup.

As I head out I grab my purse that's sitting with my swim gear under my bed, I make sure to have some cash on me In case. All of us head downstairs and say by to my parents. "Be safe and be back for dinner." My dad yells.

"And we're off!" I say kissing the sky. It's nice out. A small breeze and the sun is out for once. Amanda leads me to her car, "we're driving into town and then we'll walk most of the time." She adds before starting it up.

"Is this your dads old car?" I ask. Amanda nods.
"It's the last thing I have of him." She smiles in the rear view mirror at me. I smile back and try not to think about the fighting that happened. We chat about the most random things, bunny trailing The whole drive into town. "No I'm telling you Luke is god!" Lexi says.

"Honey, Calum is the lord and savior!" I say. "Your both wrong! Ashton is life!" Amanda add in. We laugh at what our conversation has come to. Amanda stops at a small restaurant and parks. "From here we walk!" Lexi says excitedly.

The towns surprisingly small, a few shops and I can see the school from here. The pack house is on the other side of town deep into the woods. It's a good thing I love taking wood walks or we would have a small problem. Lexi babbles on about the food here, Amanda leads us to the shops. I don't really pay attention though. I look at all the people, some I recognize, but it's very few. Do they all stay at the pack house? .

Everything's really colorful, flower and little moon decorations are hanging up everywhere.

"I can't wait! Now that we're seventeen we can participate in the games!" "The games?" I ask.

"Yeah that mating games! If your seventeen or up you can play the games to help you find your mate. The mood goddess does this every year here! It's a tradition." Amanda says. Lexi pinches her arm and look at me. Amanda makes an "oh" face and smiles and a sad one.

"I'm sorry. I total forgot Maze." I shake my head. I get this a lot. "It's fine. I would rather watch anyways." They laugh and start to think. Should I tell them about the moon goddess and how she need to talk to me? They would make a big deal about it.

But it is a big deal right. Humans aren't even supposed to know about this type of stuff, supernatural things I mean. I mentally shake my head. I take one more look around, I think I'll be fine. "It sucks that the games are post postponed of another few months. "

"why?"

"Somethings came up with the goddess and such. We have no idea when they will take place. They were suppose to be the month but now their saying around July or August" lexi says. "They might not even happen."

As we head into the woods I hear the training going on. "so are you ever going to train with your dad. you wanted to before you left for Washington." Amanda comments. "I think I have to. Something with not being apart of the pack yet. I don't know all the details but I have to beat the Alpha in a fight or something like that."

"You have to what? There is no way you can beat the Alpha without a shit ton of training."

"Why?"

"Because the alpha is a god! Literally."

"What?."

"Yeah, he's a god. Him and the moon goddess are friends I guess."

Everyone get quiet for a moment as we walk.

"Let's not stress about that. Anyways Everyone has to train here." Lexi says.

Soon we're at a giant house, more like a mansion. People are going in and out, driving away, running around. Some kids are doing homework on the lawn as moms sit out on the porches. Amanda start asking to one of the moms and Lexi leads me inside and shows me around. The kitchen, living room, dining, work rooms, open study's, a big ass library too. There are always extra bedrooms that aren't filled on the second and third floor, and a gym too.

"And my favorite part of the tour. THE FUCKING POOL!" I gasp as I look at what in front of me. It's beautiful! Full pool, lane lines, diving blocks. It's dream come true! "I know. Pretty awesome." Lexi says. I can't look away. Lexi leads me from the stands, knowing I want to jump in.

Lexi then leads me into the "great lawn" as a small crowd forms. We head over and look at what's happing. A large man and little boy are in the middle. People back away in fear as I watch what's happening.

"Do you think you can steal from me!" The man yells. The little boy can't be older than eight or nine. He's shaking as the man holds a tight grip on his arm. "I-I'm Sorry! My m-mama needs it!" The mans glare gets colder.

"Well I guess you need to be taught to not steal from your alpha!" The man yells. Everyone backs away scared of the man rage. He raises his hand to slap the little boy...

Before I know what I'm doing, I'm running to them. I jump in front of the little boy and I get hit in stead.
