4 weeks later

"I hate school." I mumble as I sit down next to Xander in his office. I toss my laptop open and sigh. "Need help?" He asks.

"Yes!" I open my math up and show Xander the homework. soon enough I'm done with it. I lay back on the small couch and close my eyes. Its half way through April and I'm shot.

"I need go to practice." I say while getting up. Xander whines and sits up as I go get my swim bag from the floor.

"I'll take you there." I roll my eyes at him and smile.

"Of course you are. I don't want to walk." I say as we walk down the stairs. These past few weeks have gone by really fast. Xander's been with me a lot, which is weird but I like it. When I am not with the girls, I'm with him, he's actually a big softy, he takes me everywhere and makes sure I'm happy.

My hand is mainly healed and I just have small bite divers in my knuckles now. my Dad came back a week ago and hasn't spoken to me sense. which gives Xander more reasons to stay with me.

It's nice having him around when he's not a total smart ass 24/7. I don't know why but he takes time out of his day for me now, we've become really good friends.

"Hey? If I were start eating at the pack house, would that be ok?" I ask.

"Of course! You are apart of the pack."

"I know. It's just. I don't think the pack likes me very much." I say. The moms love me because I bring in deserts that I make at home for them and the pups. The others girls don't like me and I think it's because I am around Xander so much. Apparently a lot of girls try to get close to Xander to be mates with him and a lot of girls have tried to flirt with him while I'm around too.

"The pack loves you." He says bringing me back into reality. He stops and faces me. "You should come." I look up and nod. He smiles at me picks me up speeding to the pool. I blink a few times and use him for balance when he sets me down.

"Still need to get used to that." I laugh as he helps me stand. Henry comes up to us and smiles at me.

"Xander. Elders want to speak to you." Xander groans and nods. "I'll see you later bug." He nod as he walks away.

Xander now calls me bug. I just call him Xan because I am not creative. I meet up with Lexi at the pool and we start doing lap after lap. Another hour passes and Lexi and I pull ourselves out of the pool to take a break. "So how are things with Xander?"

"There good."

"Good means?"

"Good means we're just friends Lexi." She sighs and slips into the pool.

"What ever you say girl." She pulls her goggles down and does a cool down. I pull my cap off and run my hand through my hair. Her and Amanda and a few of the moms have been asking me about us, it makes me a little worried.

I haven"t forgoten about that fight between Diana and Xander with that mate thing. I've been meaning to talk to him about it, but I haven't found a good time. I don't want to make him mad about either. But I don't think it's right for me to be around him all the time if he has one.

I look over and Xander is standing by the door. He nudges his head towards the door and leaves. I get up and dry off. I head to the locker room and I quickly change into my ripped leggings and hoodie.

As I leave through my hair up into a messy bun. A few stray hairs fall, framing my face. I head up to Xander's office and I'm stopped by my phone ringing.

"Mom? Is something wrong?" I ask worried.

"No honey. Everything fine, just wanted to call and tell you schools canceled for another week." I sigh.
