As Dad pulls up to a small house in the woods I take in the setting. A few house are down the road, just a few minuets away. As we step out and grab my bags I look around. There is a lot of woods, like a lot.

The pack must have a lot more land than I originally thought, or most live in the pack house. We all head inside. It's nice. Not that big considering my two of my siblings are gone.

"Your room is upstairs to left. Do you want me to show you to it?" Mom asks.

"Um..no thank you. It was a long ride, I think I should rest" I say.

"Okay, well be down by five. We have a few guest coming for dinner." I nod and go up stairs to what I assume is my room.

It's really nice. Mom and dad must have gotten some raises I guess, because it's all decked out. A full size bed is covered in blankets and pillows in my favorite colors, mint green and grey. A small bathroom is to the left with a shower, sink, and toilet. A small closet that has some jeans and long sleeves hanging up Already for me. My nightstands has a lamp and picture frame on it. I drop my bags off at my closet and sit on the bed.

The walls are blank. I think to myself. I could paint it, I did that to my old room and it turned out really nice. I haven't painted in a while, maybe it would be a good habit to start again. The school didn't have a good art program when I was there, so I stopped for a bit.

I look at the picture frame, picking it up I smile down at it. There are multiple picture of me with my friends and family. A few with me and my friends at swim meets, another with my brother and sister in the woods. Some with me and friends talking in trees or me laughing with my siblings.

After a moment of staring at the picture and then a good hour long nap in a way to comfy bed, I jump out of bed and race downstairs to find my parents only to find them in the kitchen with other people. I don't want to interrupt their conversation.

"I can't believe she's finally home!"

Wait! I recognize that voice! I run into the kitchen and see my friends. "Amanda! Lexi! What are you doing here?" The turn around and look at me.

"Holy crap you grew up!" Lexi yells. The tackle me to the ground and give me a bear hug ,not letting go for a good three minutes as we laugh. Amanda's crying into my neck and Lexi is mutter Words.

I smile brightly as they let go and take me in. They haven't aged a bit! Lexi got her braces off but other wise they look the same. They were always a step ahead of me in the beauty department.

"Girl! When did the boobs grow in?" Amanda says. I laugh at her and hug them again. "I thought you two wouldn't get out of that damn war." I say.

"Are you kidding! Your mom took us in so that wouldn't happen." Amanda says. They both lived on the south side.

"We'll leave you girls alone." Dad takes Mom into the kitchen and Lexi looks at me. "You still swimming?"

"Of course!That's why I left lexi."

Lexi is a swimmer with me, but Amanda is a softball player. She always came to our meets and would coach us after wards and take note on us. She would be a great coach. She would always help with timing and things like that. And me and Lexi would help her with softball.

"God we missed you!" Lexi says, "So how was the school?"

"It's amazing. The teachers are great and everyone was super nice!" Lie. Everyone sucked. They all thought they were better than you. And because I was the only human there, that made me target number one, for everyone. But I made some friends I guess.

"I can't wait until you start school here!" Amanda says.

"Is it a only werewolf school?"

"No, we have some witches". I sigh. Great. "Hey but don't worry! We got your back and we picked your classes so you would have them with us." Lexi says.

"And most of the students are super nice! We even got you into a gym swimming class and art classes for the rest of the year." Amanda joins in.

"It's fine. I'll have fun." I say, "it's our last year of school.

"We were going to throw a party for you, but you woke up so. Surprise!" Lexi yells in my face.

"A little to late for that Lexi." Amanda says. Lexi giggles and punches her in the arm. They start to wrestle and I laugh and sit down watching them go at it. The werewolf thing. They love to wrestle, it's in any werewolf's nature. Amanda pins Lexi and she whines. They get up and look at me. Dead silence.

I burst out laughing and they look at me weird, making me laugh harder. "You! You should have!" I can't stop laughing. "Your hair!" I say. They look at each other and they start to laugh too. We talk for hours on end before mom calls us into the dinning room for supper.

We start to talk about school again. I'm not looking forward to it. My scholarship ended after the first semester, so I'm starting new school over half way through the year."Did you hear me Maze?" I look up.

"Sorry what?" Dad laughs as Lexi start to talk. "I said you should let us take you on a tour tomorrow." Oh. I smile and nod. It will be good for me to look around the pack lands. Especially if it's how big I think it is.

"Great! We'll pick you up at noon." Lexi yells. She's practically gleaming with joy. I smile and shake my head. "You should really head down to the market place! It's lovely." Mom says.

"I'll be at the pack house teaching tomorrow honey bear. If you need me just ask someone and they'll bring you to me." My dad says. Training. I forgot about that. My dad trains pack warriors as his job.

I take everyone's plates and the girls follow leaving dad in the dinning room. "I have to get going, aunties waiting for us. We'll see you tomorrow?" I nod my head as the girls hug me and head out the door. Mom start loading the dishwasher and I sit at the counter. "Do you want help?" I ask.

"No no. I've got it." She finishes and turns around to look at me. "I think you should get to bed. It'll be a long day for you tomorrow." I look at the microwave, it's almost nine. I sigh and nod. "Night." I say.

Both of my parents yell goodnight to me as I head upstairs. I push my swim bag under my bed and change into my pj's. Mom and dad always have the heat cranked up so I wear shorts and a light hoodie.

As I crawl into bed I hear a twig snap outside my window. I jolt up and I walk to my window, looking around before locking it shut. I swear someone was out there. I do a double check and I thought I saw movement. A vampire maybe?

No, most vampires don't enter on werewolf territory. I close my curtain and shut off my lights. Lights out.
