after swimming in the blue ocean with giant waves crashing down on them, everyone headed back to the house they were staying at with packs of meat to grill. the beach had everyone exhausted and hungry, so chan thought of a barbecue, which everyone liked.

currently, chan was focusing on lighting the large amount of coal on fire that was resting in the grill, but he was struggling to even get the lighter going.

"guess we're eating raw meat for dinner then," chan muttered under his breath. he wasn't satisfied at the thought because who in the world would eat raw meat. "got to feed my hungry kids..."

"are you having trouble?" hyunjin spoke up, amused. chan jumped in his spot. it was so quiet outside that he forgot hyunjin was with him.

chan sighed, defeated. "actually, yes. for once i don't really know how to do this. my hands won't work properly."

hyunjin pressed his lips together to stop himself from laughing out loud. it was quite a sight to see the older one struggling to do anything without grumbling in frustration.

nonetheless, hyunjin still encouraged him. "you can do it. i believe in you."

chan smiled weakly, feeling much better from hyunjin's words. "thanks, guess i needed that. but can you go inside and find a paper? it should be perfect to light on fire." hyunjin nodded at the older one's words and quickly scurried inside the house.

"chan needs a piece of paper!" hyunjin raised his voice, clapping his hands loudly to get everyone's attention. "if there is no piece of paper then we won't have dinner tonight."

a tired looking seungmin rose up from the sofa, lazily raising his head at hyunjin to throw him a glare in dissatisfaction at how loud his voice was.

"what, you guys going to play tic tac toe while waiting for the meat to finish grilling?" seungmin scoffed, messing up his already messed up hair.

hyunjin smacked his lips. "i don't know, will we? just so you know i am responsible for your dinner so who knows what i'll put in it."

seungmin nonchalantly said, "alright. poison it. at least the world was grateful to have me."

hyunjin didn't know how to respond to that, but he was left simply shocked at how seungmin easily managed to answer him in his own way. he had expected seungmin to shut up afterwards, but the brown-haired-male was probably too tired to even worry about his dinner.

he shook his head and left the living room to go to the kitchen that was connected to the diner room. in there he found felix and minho struggling to balance cups of water on their heads. an entertained areum, sowon and jisung watched them closely, trying to make at least one of them lose.

"what are you guys doing?" hyunjin asked, dumbfounded. deep inside of him, he wished the water in felix's cup would sprinkle down on him, but that wouldn't help the situation.

felix and minho stayed mute while jisung restlessly answered hyunjin's curious question. "we're doing a science experiment."

hyunjin snorted. "doesn't look like one to me."

"maybe because you didn't focus well in science class," minho growled. "don't disturb me. i have to prove that the cup on my head is balancing on gravity."
