"i told you it was a bad idea," felix hissed towards hyunjin who had his phone in his grasp. "give me it back. if you want to text her so much then use your own phone."

"i'm such a loser, felix!" hyunjin exclaimed in frustration, tugging his hair. "why are you still friends with me?"

"because i don't care if you're a loser even though you are one right now, but yeah," felix responded. "it's fun hanging out with you, but like i don't know what to do with you sometimes."

"thanks," hyunjin muttered, not sure if he was offended or not. "i don't even know what to do with myself."

felix shrugged. hyunjin had been bugging him for the past two days to check up on areum for him since he couldn't do it.

hyunjin was a coward because he was afraid of hurting areum if he let his anger get in the way, but it turned out to be much worse than he imagined. after he had calm down, hyunjin wanted to confront her about maci, but he didn't have the courage because he overreacted a lot.

"this is probably the longest time we've spent apart. i miss her so much," hyunjin frowned, thinking back to the small memories he made with her.

he remembered one time areum took him to the park because he was too caught up in his new game he received for his thirteenth birthday.

apparently he didn't give her that much attention, so she was bothering him a lot until she managed to drag his butt with her.

they spent the rest of their afternoon together just swinging on the swings and laughing together at their old memories. he also remembered pushing areum on the swings, but she fell off moments later because she wanted to fly.

"hyunjin, if you want her that bad then just tell her you like her," felix groaned, shaking his head a little. as much as he would love to play cupid, he wasn't going to meddle into their friendship.

hyunjin scrunched up his nose. "i don't like her that way." but maybe he did, but his non-existent feelings for another girl made him think otherwise.

UPDATE: i'm so uneducated about love and mostly about relationships because i've never had one before but why do i give advice about it? i'm laughing at myself now. i'm sure i'm not the only one.
