Chapter 8: Neosporin

3rd Person POV

That night was peaceful, the two of them cuddling. Morning came and Loki had woken up. He watched (y/n) sleep and let her be. Eventually it was 8 o'clock and she had set her alarm. It went off and (y/n) fluttered her eyes open while groaning. She saw Loki staring at her, and blushed. "How long have you been awake?" (Y/n) asked. "Awhile, love." the god said softly. (Y/n) loved the nicknames Loki called her; darling, dear, love, etc.

(Y/n) sat up and got out of the bed. "Come back, dear." the god said in a sorta whiney voice. "I can't, sorry. I have to get ready for the hike." She replied. He nodded and got out of the bed as well. (Y/n) went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face as she usually did. She came back to her room to see the her bed was made. Loki changed into a black shirt, emerald sweats, and black ankle socks. "I thought I'd change and do one of your daily tasks, like making your bed." he said gesturing his hand towards the bed.

(Y/n) walked towards Loki and hugged him for a second. "Thank you" She said, her voice muffled. She pulled away and saw Loki blushing like crazy. Heat in his cheeks. "U-um. Well you should get ready." Loki stuttered then walking out of the room.

Your POV

I got changed into (any athletic outfit) and put my hair into a slick ponytail. I walked out of the room and entered the kitchen. I got myself some cereal and sat on the table in the dining room. "Hello, darling." Loki said, eating a bagel and reading Harry Potter (Chamber of Secrets). "Hey." I said while sitting down across from him.

We both finished eating when Imori, mom, Dani, and Marissa came into the room. "You guys ready?" I said as I stood up from my chair. "Yeah, Aunt Dorothy is already in the car!" Imori said as they all walked towards the front door. "Welp. I guess I'm going now. Bye, Loki." I said. Loki came up to me, took both of my hands, and kissed them. "Be safe, love." Loki said as he released my hands. I loved his mannerisms, how he was a gentleman towards me just made my heart start pounding.

I walked out of the house and opened the back door of the car. "Let's go!" mom said from the driver's seat.

Loki's POV

I heard some pants at the front door. I walked over to unlock the door to see the five ladies, sweating and out of breath. I ran over to (y/n) and put her arm around my shoulder, as I put my arm round her waist. "Thank you" She said in a breathy voice. I nodded and helped her into the house. We went inside the house and I set her down the couch in the living room. I grabbed a cold bottled water from the fridge and gave it to her. "What happened?" I asked because her skin had a layer of sweat and she was panting still. "Well the mountain we went to wasn't far from here but it was steep. It took 3 hours in total to do this hike." She replied, her breathing slowly going down. "What was the goal for this hike?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We went to see the Hollywood sign!" She said enthusiastically, taking a sip from the water. "Anyways I'm going to take a shower again." she continued. I nodded and took her water before she stood up and left to her room.

I watched her until she was out of sight. Then Imori plopped down beside me on the couch, leaving some distance. "Since it's 12 already, we can start." She said. "I've been examining your abilities and they are quite extraordinary. Although over time your mind reading will fade out and you will no longer have that ability. But other than that you can absorb energy, travel to different dimensions including the ghost and human world, leave your body, travel through time but you are very limited with a certain amount of time until you are summoned back to the present, and you can go through objects or walls." I said as I rolled my eyes at the last part.
