Frozen Stars

Chapter 3

Lucy P.O.V

I hummed along to Heart Attack by Demi Lovato as I walked behind Grey. I swung my arms side to side with my steps, looking like a dork. Grey seemed to notice but just chuckled in response to my actions. I stopped and just started skipping instead, arms behind my back.

"So, where are you leading me?" I asked curiously.

He put his hands in his pockets and turned a corner.

"To Music Room A, we were practicing before Natsu decided to have fun with his girlfriend, as you know" I laughed a bit and skipped faster, so I was next to him now.

"And what exactly do you practice? You guys a band or something" I asked. He nodded in response and pushed open the doors of what I assume is Music Room A. I look around at their set up and felt a small bit of excitement run through me.

There was a stage at the very back of the room, not too big. Lights hug above it along with some cords. There mic stands and instruments set up. In the very front of the room there was a soundboard, it looked so high tech. There were multiple instruments along the walls as well.

"This is so cool, who's in it?" I questioned as I walked around looking at the instruments, stars starting to form in my eyes.

"Me, Natsu, his girlfriend, Erza, Juvia, Wendy, Gajeel, and Levy," He said calmly.

"Who does what?" I ask, picking up a Ukulele from one of the cases against the wall.

"Gajeel plays drums, I play piano and bass, Natsu plays guitar, Levy plays piano, writes, and sings, Wendy works with the soundboard and helps with writing, Erza is the manager, Juvia sings along with Natsu's girlfriend" He quickly explained before popping up at my side, watching me fiddle with the Ukulele.

"Wow, you must have fun," I told him, deciding it should probably put the instrument down before I break it. I smiled at him and then jumped a little when I felt someone drape their arm around my shoulders.

"Hey! What's your name?" I turned my head and felt my face heat up when I realized it was the pink-haired boy, Natsu is what Grey said he is called.

"L-Lucy," I said, moving his arm off my shoulder. 'I KNOW where your hands have been' I thought to myself.

"Are you new? I haven't seen you around before" He asked, getting a little too close to my face.

"Yes I-I am, can you not be so close to me please," I asked, a little annoyed.

He laughed and stood up straight, taking a step back. He pointed back to his girlfriend and introduced her, her name was Lisanna. She gave me a glance but then looked away, weird. People soon started to come into the room, the three greeting them, and starting conversations. I stood there awkwardly for a few seconds because I started to listen to what they were saying.

From what I could figure out, 'Wendy is the blue-haired freshmen, Levy is the small blue-haired girl with glasses, Gajeel is the big guy with piercings, Erza is the scary red-haired girl, and Juvia is the girl glaring at me, wait glaring at me?'

I turned my attention to Juvia and nervously waved at her, her glaring only got worse. I started to feel uncomfortable, deciding that I really had needed her I started to make my way out.

"Hey, Lucy were you going?" I turned my head to see Grey. I told him I was leaving and saw Juvia quickly move a few feet behind him.

"Why?" He asked, he kind of sounded disappointed.

"Because I have no reason to stay" I bluntly said before walking out and closing the door behind me. I knew what I said sounded mean, but I really don't care, Juvia really freaked me out. I sighed started walking back to the Biology class. Once I got there, I sat my butt outside the room again, getting into the same position as before, music turned up to the max, and fell asleep.

Time Skip Start of Biology

I myself being moved gently. I slowly opened my eyes and turn my head to see that Levy girl and Grey. They smiled at me and said Hello. Levy offered me her hand but again, I didn't accept and just got up myself.

She said something to me. I couldn't hear her because of my music so I just nod and walk inside the now open classroom.

There is a sign on the board without seats written down. I calmly walk up, passing by students. I look at it and can't help but sigh when I read who I'm sitting next to.

I walk over to my seat that was placed in the right corner of the room near the window and place my bag to the side of it. I sit down and turn off my music and watch as they both make their way to the seating chart on the board. They turn to me, Levy waves and rushes to the seat in front of the one next to me, followed by Grey sitting in the seat behind her, meaning he was next to me.

I pull my earbuds out and wrap them around my phone before placing them in my hoodie pocket. I hum to myself quietly, staring out the window waiting for the class to start.
