Chapter 8

Lucy P.O.V

Its been a little over a week since I agreed to be friends with Cana and Levy. Our friendship has grown stronger in such little time it almost scares me. Because of our schedules, Levy and I usually walk to second period, then we both walk to third and meet with Cana since hers is nearby and Cana is in my class. Then I excuse myself from lunch and sit by the science buildings to wait for the next period which Levy also has with me. 

Cana has a habit of showing up late and Levy usually oversleeps so I've gotten used to wandering the halls with my music at max volume. Since fainting, I've been trying my best to eat breakfast but usually just end up eating a grape or something small along those lines.

Unless its mac&cheese I don't really feel a need to eat anything, just because I had a small accident doesn't mean that's changed. Though the obvious effort does seem to make Virgo feel a little better. So I'll keep trying my best.

"Hmmmm, I got my ticket for the long way route..." Lightly singing the lyrics to Cups I continued down the hall. The volume of the song was canceling out all the other noises around me, which I really appreciated from these 5 dollar earbuds. 

As I was turning the corner I saw the number that leads to the science buildings. I should probably go somewhere familiar and get my bearings, I've been wandering for a while. Still lightly singing to myself, I started to skip because I wanted to dance and dear god that would be horribly cringy. 

"...your gonna miss me when I'm go-o-one" Oh who cares I'm alone. Letting myself let loose a bit I did a little twill causing my skirt to go up a little too high. I wasn't worried though, I was wearing nylons. 

Reaching the doors to my classroom, I decided to sit down again as I did on the first day and just relax. Letting my body slide down the wall, I allowed myself to get comfortable, nuzzling my face into my pink sweater. I continued to hum to every song that played in my head and smiled when I a feeling of tranquility wash over me.

Thanks to Cana I was wearing outfits that really fit me and I guess you could say I found my style. The pink sweater I was wearing exposed my shoulders enough so I wouldn't overhead, and because of the breathable nylons, I don't have to worry too much about flashing people while wearing skirts. She is a godsend.

"Oh, so you do smile?" Jumping from the sudden voice, I looked up and was met with a blonde-haired male. I pulled out one of the buds in my ear and stared at him for a minute. Curiously scanning him I noticed he had a scar on his left eyebrow that was about 2 inches long. He also had a jewel earring hanging from his right ear that looked pretty expensive. Man, he looks like the kid who was kidnapped and held hostage for ransom. He does have a handsome face though I will admit.

"Are you just gonna droll over me or greet me blondie? I didn't wait for your song to end for nothing" Feeling a pinch of annoyance I sighed heavily before standing and attempted a turn to leave but was stopped. His hand quickly flew to my shoulder and he held me in place. As my nerves bubbled inside my mind I turned my head to him, my feelings displayed on my face. 

"Do you even know who I am, you don't just walk away from a Saber member" He spoke with a venom laced voice. I watched as he leaned in and flinched when his grip tightened on my shoulder. 

"Hey that hurts, stop it" I hissed out, taking a step back from him, which only made him get closer. 

"Are you stupid? I don't care if you're in pain" Looking him in the eyes I knew what that glazed over look meant. Without warning, he slammed his free hand against the wall behind me, trapping me in his arms.
