He was nervous of course, but he knew he needed to do it. He couldn't choose between Shannel and his band, that just wasn't an option. He needed to tell them the truth about her and about their 'relationship'.

He decided to go alone, leaving Shannel back at the hotel not only to decrease his chances of being snapped with her, but also to decrease the risk of her and Ashton breaking out into an argument.

He made his way in through the back of their apartment building, noting a fair amount of fans surrounding the front, waiting for them to come out. His palms began to sweat with each second that he made it closer to their door, but managed to contain himself well.

Taking out his key he unlocked the door and walked in to see Michael and Luke playing video games and Ashton making himself a sandwich in the kitchen.

"Finally decided to show up?" Ashton asked, annoyance in his voice, but at the same time he was happy Calum had returned.

"Yeah." Was all he could say.

He waited for them all to settle down with him for a while before he decided to bring up the topic. They were all seated around the couch as Calum tried to ease his friends into it, but it seemed that the mention of her name created tension in the room.

Calum needed to defend her, he knew what she was really like and he needed his friends to know too.

"You've gotta be kidding me?" Ashton shook his head.

"Just hear me out." Calum pleaded.

"Hear you out? Dude are you serious? You've ditched several recording sessions and missed interviews and now you want us to listen to you for a change?"

"Forget all of that. It wasn't her fault-" he argued.

"Of course it wasn't." The curly haired boy rolled his eyes.

"It wasn't. I stayed with her, i took her out."

"Why?" Luke asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Because she needed someone and frankly you were pissing me off and i didn't really wanna be around you guys."

"She needed someone." Ashton scoffed.

"She needed someone? But it had to be you? The famous guy with all the money."

"She didn't know who i was, she hadn't even heard of one direction."

"Oh my god Calum are you listening to yourself? Are you seriously going to believe that she didn't know who you were? So what she just happened to show up at the nightclub the same time you were there, and she just happened to approach you?"

Ashton's words played in Calum's mind. How co-incidental could it all have really been.

"They're all the same dude. She's just playing you."

"She's not. She's different." He tried to explain.

"How? Have you spent money on her? Have you bought her things?"

He didn't answer.

"Has she slept with you yet?"

The silence took over and Calum found himself defeated, looking at the floor shamefully. Ashton had left him conflicted, wondering if she had been playing him all along. He was starting to believe that she was a liar.

"Oh my God you have."

"Dude how naive could you be?" Michael asked, looking at his friend shamefully.o

"She played you and now she gets to play all of us if she opens her mouth to tell anyone about this. This could ruin you, this could ruin our whole damn career because of your stupid mistake of falling for a prostitute."

"You need to fix this, do whatever it takes to keep her quiet."

"What if she's not...she's not like that. She didn't ask me for anything-" he tried to defend her, but couldn't find anything to say in her favour.

"Because she found a way for you to give it all to her."

"Dude...maybe she's not who you think she is." Luke cut in, weakly looking at Calum.

"No, you're wrong...you're wrong she's not who you think she is, she's different. She's misunderstood you just don't get it." He stood up, raising his voice at them all, finding his brain spinning in all different directions.

"Of course i don't, i wont get it...because i'm not the one whose fallen into her trap." Luke explained.

"It's you."
