Months have passed since Emperor Aolroth's successful invasion and takeover of Korriban, the Empire has now been integrated into Aolroth's Empire. Despite most systems in the Empire falling in line to Aolroth's rule, one planet remains defiant: Dromund Kaas. One the bridge of the Devastator, Emperor Aolroth meets up with Grand Admiral Quinn to discuss the situation.
Emperor Aolroth: Who dares attempt to defy us?
Quinn: After the death of Empress Acina, Darth Baras took over as the self claimed Emperor of the Sith Empire. He's the only one left among the Sith who defies us.
Emperor Aolroth: What following does he have?
Quinn: Baras has his own fleet surrounding Dromund Kaas. That and he has nearby systems under his control.
Emperor Aolroth: We'll crush them!
Quinn: I don't doubt that, my lord. Most of the systems he has under control pose no significant military threat . Only two systems however do. Dromund Kaas and Balmorra.
Hearing that Balmorra was under the control of Baras brought rage and sorrow to the aged Emperor. Balmorra was first and foremost his home, despite growing up in what could be described in hell.
Quinn: Dromund Kaas will be heavily defended. Balmorra should be easy to get to. Balmorra's weapons factory supplies forces on Dromund Kaas with weapons and ammunition to fund their war effort. If we can take Balmorra, then the invasion of the former Imperial Empire will run smoothly.
Emperor Aolroth: Who's in charge of the occupation?
Quinn: Darth Angral. along with his son Lord Tarnis. They personally oversee the weapons production. Killing them and destroying the weapons factory will deal a considerable blow to Baras's credibility to the systems he controls.
Emperor Aolroth had remembered Darth Angral from his time as Darth Jahl's apprentice. He remembered Angral as a brilliant, ruthless and maniacal warlord with a mastery of the Dark Side of the Force. Angral was not to be underestimated, but Aolroth knew this.
Emperor Aolroth: Summon my allies to my private quarters. We'll discuss on our next course of action there.
Quinn: As you command, my lord.
Grand Admiral Quinn obeyed as Emperor Aolroth made his way to his private quarters. As he waited for his allies to some. He took the time to meditate on everything that has happened. Balmorra was under Baras's control and was supplying the remnants of the Old Imperial Empire. Aolroth was more than ready to reclaim his old home planet from his enemy. He remembered the last time he was on Balmorra and the pain it brought him. The thought of Angral controlling his home planet made his blood boil. After his brief meditation, his allies soon entered the quarters. In Emperor Aolroth's private chambers, the Emperor's most trusted allies were gathered by Aolroth to discuss their next course of action regarding Balmorra. In the room was Darth Xhax, Lord Scourge, Commander Quinn and Grand Admiral Quinn.
Emperor Aolroth: Balmorra is our next target. As we speak, the weapons factory is providing the False Emperor Darth Baras's army on Dromund Kaas.
Quinn: And Darth Angral is overseeing the weapons production with his son Lord Tarnis.
Scourge: I know Angral. His power in the Dark Side is not to be underestimated.
Darth Xhax: We will crush them! Baras and the remnants of the old Empire! Let me be your tool once more!
Pierce: What are there defenses?" Commander Pierce asked.
Quinn: The planetary threat is nonexistent. Angral leads a modest detachment of Sith and Imperial troops in the weapons factory.
Emperor Aolroth: Would the fleet suffice?
Scourge: Our fleet is weakened by the losses suffered at both Taris and Korriban. Not to mention we have yet to integrate the former Imperial Fleet into our own. It will take some time for it to be done.
Quinn: I concur, my lord. We'll need the fleet if we're going to launch an invasion on Dromund Kaas.
Emperor Aolroth pondered his options, but he then turned to Commander Pierce.
Emperor Aolroth: What do you suggest Commander?
Pierce: Based on the intel we have, Shadow Squadron should be able to infiltrate it.
Quinn: And if intel is correct, Angral and Tarnis should be there.
Emperor Aolroth: Does anyone here have any objection to this plan?
None said any form of rejection to this plan. He then looked to Darth Xhax.
Emperor Aolroth: Darth Xhax. You will be charged with leading Commander Pierce and Shadow Squadron into the Balmorra weapons factory. You will find and kill Darth Angral and Lord Tarnis. Then you will signal the Devastator to launch an orbital strike to level the weapons factory.
Emperor Aolroth laid out Xhax's mission to his apprentice. The Kaleesh female Sith bowed in pride at her master's command.
Darth Xhax: I will not fail you, my master. Angral and Tarnis will die by my lightsaber! Your will shall be done!
Emperor Aolroth felt pride at his apprentice. She had been loyally devoted to him since she became his apprentice and never faltered once in her devotion.
Emperor Aolroth: I never doubted your loyalty for a second, Xhax. Go forth and bring glory to our Empire!
After finishing, the Grand Admiral makes a suggestion.
Quinn: Might I recommend that we simply take the weapons factory. It would be a shame if all those resources were to be destroyed.
Aolroth agrees and gives the updated orders to his apprentice.
Darth Xhax: Are you ready Commander Pierce?
Darth Xhax turned to Commander Pierce.
Pierce: Shadow Squadron is ready when you are, sir!
Darth Xhax prepared herself and Shadow Squadron for their mission as the Devastator made way to Balmorra.
