silence

Because  my love for you

 Is higher than words

I decided to fall silent

^ Axel ^

I awoke to the screams of the passengers on the plane. Nervous, I tapped on the old man's shoulder.

"What's happening?"

"The plane is falling! We're going to die!"

As I was panicking, I saw Faith. She sat there, crying her eyes out, not knowing what to do. I dragged her to the back of the plane, trying to find a lifeboat.

When we got to the back, I spotted Ryan and a girl. He had a lifeboat. We rushed towards each other, hugging tightly. Faith and the other girl threw themselves onto each other and started crying.

The lifeboat was just enough for all of us to fit in. We threw it in the ocean and jumped in it. Hopefully, we'll make it safe...

I didn't know what to do; everything was overwhelming me. I can't lie if Axel and his cousin hadn't saved us, Tamara and I wouldn't be able to do anything.

I sure hope this lifeboat works. My face was drenched in tears, and my jaw was trembling. I have never been this scared before.

The waves were more vicious than I thought; I almost fell. Luckily, I felt two hands grabbing me back onto the boat, hugging me tightly. "We'll be okay," Axel's voice whispered in my ear.

I hugged him back, feeling his tears on my shoulder. Suddenly, there was a jolt, and everything fell into darkness.

*Axel*

The sunlight was blinding me when I woke up. I was lying on the warm sand when I remembered what happened. We had hit a rock yesterday, and the boat flipped. The girls were passed out, so we carried them back to shore. We didn't need to swim since the water was shallow.

When we got to the island, we were so tired we felt like we could sleep for days. So we lay down and fell asleep. I glanced around and found Ryan and the other girl, Tamara I think, still sleeping. Faith was nowhere to be seen.

I started looking around, seeing Faith walking around the shore. Walking towards her, I wondered how it would be like living with these two strangers for, possibly, the rest of our lives. Ugh, this wouldn't have happened if my private pilot hadn't gotten sick last minute.

I tiptoed towards Faith, making sure to keep quiet. "Boo!" I yelled, scaring her. She jumped and rolled her eyes when she saw it was me.

"Seriously?"

By the time we walked back to where the others were, Tamara and Ryan were already awake.

Tamara sighed. "What are we going to do?"

"Well, we should definitely try to survive. We'll need to find food and shelter," I suggested.

We can eat fruits off of the trees and bushes, and we can find a cave or something," Ryan added, shrugging.

I brightened up, starting to feel not so hopeless anymore. "Great! Ryan and I will go look for shelter, and you girls can look for the food."

They all agreed to my plan. At the end of the day, we had enough food for us to survive, but we didn't manage to find any caves.

When we ate, no one said anything. There was just nothing to discuss. Suddenly, Faith broke the ice.
