After she'd fallen asleep Lip left her room.
He'd only been inside her house a handful of times and decided to look around.
He walked into the bathroom and looked through cabinets, drawers, and baskets.

He opened the cabinets under the sink and saw her scale.
It sparked in him, anger. For no apparent reason. The scale was plastic and simple.
He grabbed it out and left the bathroom.

The steps creaked one his way downstairs and soon the dog started barking.
Elsy was a sweet dog, no where near aggressive and when she saw the boy her tail wagged and she stopped barking.

Lip scratched behind her ears and continued his way around.
The living room was normal with a small flatscreen tv and a leather couch.
Two mismatched chair sat on opposite sides of the room. The carpet was old ripped near the entrance.

He walked towards the kitchen which was on the opposite side of the stairs.

It had a small wooden table with four chairs that didn't match it. The fridge was small and white, it held family photos and coupons.

He opened drawers, looking for something specific.

He saw the meat cleaver and picked it up.
He set the scale on the floor and adjusted the cleaver in his hand.

He slammed his hand down on the middle of the scale.
He smashed it over and over again until it wasn't able to work.

Picking up the pieces he threw them into the large trash can next to the fridge.

The stairs creaked as he walked up them back to Roses room. When he got in there he noticed that the girl was now awake.
"What was that noise?"
"I was snooping and knocked some cans out of the cabinets."
"Glad it was you and not a murderer, that's why I stayed upstairs."

He chuckled and laid back on the bed and pulled out a coin.
She looked at him with tired eyes "what's that for?"
He shrugged. Rose smirked and lifted herself up.
"If it lands on heads, you give me head, if it lands on tails I give you head."
"God you're amazing."

_____

"I figured it was gonna land on heads."

She giggled "you should probably get going soon it's late and my dad should be home soon and that's not fun."

He nodded and grabbed his boots, putting them on. The dim lights made them both feel more relaxed. "By Rose," he gave her a kiss and left through the window.

"I have a door, you pinhead."
