The alarm was loud and annoyed Rose.
Her hand slammed the snooze button and she turned on her side, not wanting to go to school. Her eyes closed once more and she allowed herself to sleep once more.
Rose tightened the comforter over herself as a cold breeze drifted into her bedroom. Her alarm rang through the air once more louder than before. She just turned it off and went back to sleep.
Around 2 in the afternoon Rose woke up to a nightmare.
She often couldn't sleep much due to the night terrors. She would always see her.
She would always see the girl. She was thin all bones. She yelled at her screamed at her, she never really got away from the girl.
She sat there in her mind, dark brown hair, soulless black eyes, and her to the bone body.
Never leaving her alone, she yells, screams, attacking her mind with all of Roses insecurities. 'You aren't good enough', "You're really going to eat that? Aren't you big enough?" she spits at her everyday, all night all day she scratches at the back of her head yelling.
Yelling, Scratching, Yelling, Scratching. It never stops. She torments her with that big dead smile.
Rose thought she look like her for the longest time. The dead eyes and long dark brown hair.
One thing, only one thing Rose didn't think was right.
This girl, she was all bones. To Rose skinny was perfect, and yes she is skinny. Nothing like the girl, or what she thinks society wants.
It is what society wants, or so she thought. That's what the girl in her head said. She called herself Ana.
Ana wasn't always apart of her.
There was a time Rose didn't worry about these things.
A time she wasn't in her head.
Ana introduced herself, said she could help with her problem.
Ana was apart of Rose, a figment of her imagination. A creation in her own mind she built.
That'll stay with her if she doesn't get help.
