Chapter 9:Headin' to Disney world with Elvis:

I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face as I saw Elvis sleeping beside me. I got up out of bed and went to use the bathroom. As tried to get up,Elvis pulled me back down into his arms. "What was that for?" I asked him giggling. "I wanna be close to you. " Elvis said smiling while holding me in his arms. "Can I go to the bathroom before you snuggle me to death?" I said smiling. "Ok, you win. I'm gonna go and fix us some breakfast." Elvis said as he got up and went downstairs to cook. I used the bathroom, washed my hands, did my morning routine, put my light blue robe on,and walked downstairs. When I got there, I heard Elvis singing his song "Shake,Raddle, and Roll" while cooking what looked like omelets. "Morning Nik-Nik." Elvis said giving me a hug. "Mornin' Elvis. " I said kissing his cheek. "Sleep well?" He asked me while putting shredded cheese, mushrooms, and chopped up steak in an omelet. "Very. I still can't believe I'm here in Memphis with you." I said sitting down at the bar. "Well,believe it baby. " Elvis said fixing himself a ham and cheese omelet. "Mornin' sweetpea. " Vernon said as he came downstairs and gave me a hug. "Morning Vernon. " I said hugging him. "You got my son slaving over a hot stove this morning." He said going to fix himself a cup of coffee. "No sir, he got up this morning and fixed it his self. "I said getting me a cup of water. "Well, that was nice of my boy to do that. " Vernon said before taking a sip of his coffee. I got out plates and began to set the table in the dinning room. "I smell food." Jerry Shilling said as he came downstairs. "Man, your always hungry. When I came downstairs last night, I saw you fixing a bowl of ice cream. " Elvis said laughing while cooking sausage patties. "Hey, you can't blame me for having a sweet tooth. " Jerry said laughing before going to sit with Vernon, who was watching the morning news, on the couch. "Hey Nikki." Dodger said coming downstairs. "Hey mamaw. "I said giving her a hug. "I'm so glad that you could make it down here. Elvis was miserable without you here." She said to me. "Dodger!" Elvis frowned with embarrassment. While me and Elvis talked about our plans for going to Disney World, the rest of the guys and Lucy came downstairs and joined us. "Breakfast is served." Elvis said with a smile as he put the omelets on a plate , sausage, biscuits, turkey bacon, and buttered toast on plates. After Vernon said grace, we all ate. After breakfast, we all got ready to go to Disney World. I took a quick shower and decided to wear a light orange flower dress with white flats and my hair in a ponytail. Elvis wore a white sweater, black pants, a black buttoned up shirt, and black shoes. Lucy wore a light pink dress with light pink flats. When I got done packing up a couple of clothes to go to Florida this weekend, I heard Elvis on the phone. "Yes sir, ok, I'll get her. Nik-Nik, your dad wants to talk to you." Elvis said handing me the phone. "Hi daddy." I said smiling. "Hi sweetheart, are you having fun? Is Elvis taking good care of you?" My dad asked me. "Yes sir, he's takin' care of me. " I said smiling at Elvis before he went downstairs. "So what are your plans for today?" My dad asked. "We're going to Disney World for a couple of days. I promise I'll write you and call you everyday. " I told him.

"Nikki , we're about to leave ." Elvis said standing in the doorway. "I'll call you before I go to bed. I love you. " I said before hanging up the phone . " I ran downstairs to Elvis while Joe put my bags on the bus. "Let's rock-n'- roll baby. " Elvis yelled while everyone got settled on the bus. I sat by Elvis, who was in the drivers seat. While Lucy , who was next to me,sat by Red. After we started driving past a small gas station, I decided to go and sit at the small table by the window so I could write a letter to Daliana and Cheyenne. I told them everything that had happened up until now and told then that I would see them again in a couple of days. After I wrote my letter, I took a nap on the couch with Elvis's red and black blanket. A few minutes later, Elvis's voice woke me up. "Welcome to Florida, everybody!" Elvis said while pulling into a hotel parking lot. We got off of the bus, got our luggage and went to the hotel. "Hi welcome to the Hilton-Oh my stars, your Elvis Presley!" The hotel concierge said smiling. "Yes mam, I was wondering if I could have a few hotel rooms for my guests here. " Elvis said smiling. "Yes we do. We have the presidential suite for you and we have suites for your other guests. " She said looking at her book with the rooms listed in them. "That will suit us just fine. " Elvis said with his arm around me. "Here are your room keys. And have a nice day. " She said while handing them to us. "Thank you very much." Elvis said smiling at her. Elvis gave all the guys and Lucy their room keys . " We'll meet up here back in the lobby in about 10 minutes to go to Disney World. ." Elvis told us as we went up the elevator to our rooms. "Ok. "We all told him. Elvis opened the doors to our presidential suite and I walked around. "Very classy. " I said smiling while looking at the living room. "Yeah, I wanted the best for me and my little gal. " Elvis said kissing my cheek. "So do you know Walt Disney?" I asked him while sitting on the couch. "Yes I do. I've actually met him and his family when I preformed here in my early 20's. " Elvis said putting his clothes away in the huge closet. "That's nice. " I said going to unpack my suitcase. After we unpacked, we got ready to go to the park. We got a cab and drove to Disney World . We spent a whole day there and had a blast. We met Walt Disney and his family and rode a lot of rides. Then after our day we went back to the hotel to get some rest. Elvis and me changed into our pjs after I called my parents before I went to bed with him. After I got off of the phone, I fell asleep next to him.
