2013 ― London, England
"I can't be with you sitting on that throne all day and night."

IT HAD BEEN TWO DAYS since Nikita and Thor, along with the help of Jane, Erik, Darcy and Ian had stopped the Convergence. Nikita knew Thor had to go back to Asgard and report to his father what happened, but he did promise her that he would be back. Sooner than the last time he said it. Nikita now sat with Jane, Erik, Ian and Darcy at their table in the kitchen eating breakest. It was silent, Nikita was plowing through her food and they all knew it was because of one thing.

She was missing Thor.

"He's gonna come back." Darcy said, and Nikita didn't speak. "Except, you know, last time he was gone for like, two years." Darcy continued. Jane elbowed her friend while Nikita looked up from her cereal bowl.

"Well, it's only been two days, so. ." Nikita trailed off, shrugging her shoulders.

"Did he say anything before he left?" Erik asked.

"Yeah, he had to figure some stuff out with his father. He kinda, you know, committed treason. . on our way out." Nikita trailed off and put another spoonful of cereal in her mouth. "Maybe I'll just go to D.C. with my sister and Katherine and be the Agent S.H.I.E.L.D. brought me on to be." She mumbled to herself. After the mention of treason, no one really knew what to say.

"Oh."

Nikita still sat in the kitchen even after everyone else had left her, and dispersed around the apartment. She had eaten two more bowls of cereal, and her mind was only of Thor. She knew she was probably kidding herself thinking that she could be in a normal relationship with Thor. He's a god, not of this Earth and she's a mere mortal, mostly. How could they ever work out?

Then they heard thunder.

Nikita slowly lifted her head, as Erik came out from the study. Jane and Darcy were in the kitchen washing dishes and they both turned around, while Ian came out from Darcy's room. When Nikita turned around, she noticed the bright light that only the Bifrost creates when it transports you somewhere. Her face broke out into a wide smile as she was quickly out of her seat and out of the door onto the balcony.

She walked out, right as the light was fading away and she walked directly into Thor's embrace where the two of them shared a passionate kiss. Thor laid one of his hands down on her cheek, while she wrapped her arms around his neck. When the two of them parted, Nikita laid a hand on his cheek and still had a smile on her face.

"Two days. . at least it wasn't two years." Nikita teased, which made Thor laugh.

"You still could've come to New York." He said, and she shrugged her shoulders.

"Maybe the next time the Avengers get together, I'll come and join the party. I probably should be getting back to America. Do you have to go back to Asgard?" Nikita asked, and Thor shook his head.

"I told my father I didn't want the throne." He said, which made Nikita's eyes widen.

"What?" Nikita said, purely in shock. Thor chuckled a little at her reaction. "Why would you do that?" She asked him.

"Because, I can't protect the Nine Realms sitting on a throne. And I can't be with you sitting on that throne all day and night either." Thor said, which made Nikita blush.

"Is that what you want? For us to be together?" Nikita asked. Thor nodded his head, brushing some of her hair from in front of her face.

"If you'll have me?" Thor asked back. Nikita responded by leaning up on her toes and bringing their lips together once again. Thor laid a hand on her cheek as he kissed her back, and when they pulled away, there was a glint of happiness in Nikita's eyes as she spoke.

"Of course I will."

Sorry that was super super short, but they, they're official! After Age of Ultron, you'll see in Civil War that Nikita is in it for like two seconds before she goes to look for Thor and then Ragnarok will come out after Civil War and before Infinity War, since the opening scene of Infinity War is Thor's ship leaving Asgard and coming to Earth.

I'll let you guys know when Age of Ultron is out.
