Konohagakure;
At the start of the series: Two years later- Sasuke is 10 and so are the kids of Minato and Tsunade:

Seikatsu Uchiha, one of the three survivors of Uchiha Clan had now been with the Akatsuki for around five years. During all these years he killed targets, stole things and fulfilled projects like that.

All in all life was comfortable and peaceful.
Hit kill and sleep.

He had a preference for where he would perform a mission or which village it would be. Kumogakure topped the list for the sole reason that he had contacts and hideouts there then came Iwagakure as it was an easier place to deal with.
One could kill and get away quite easily.

And of course then there was Kirigakure and Sunagakure.

Konohagakure wasn't an ideal place where he would love to take a stroll.

Old contacts was one of the few things which held him back. And to top that there was ROOT something he absolutely wanted to put an end to.

If ROOT was removed half of the problems in neighbouring villages would be over. As well on Global Scale many assassinations would end without a reason.

But he had far more important matters for now to deal with.

He placed three Genjutsu layers on himself followed by a transformation into an elder civilian.

He walked towards the gates and saw two Chunins guarding the gate. "Who are you and what's your work in Konohagakure?"

One of the guards asked and he replied in old man tone, "I'm here to steal few scrolls that are present in abandoned Senju residence."

The two laughed like crazy and after taking control of themselves said, "listen up senile bastard. We asked you a question answer straight or we'll kick you out of the great Land of Fire."

He sighed, "aren't you kids getting on my nerves."

The two got annoyed rather quick as they were about to arrest him he spoke up, "Look in my eyes and tell me what do you see?"

The man had kept his eyes closed for most of the time but the moment they looked him in the eye, "What do you see kids?"

The two didn't respond and were petrified, "That's right... silence as everyone should feel."

He whispered in the ear of one standing to his left, "Tell me... what do you see?"

He stuttered, "My sister... she... crying... bastard.. Uchiha..."

He smiled, "that's right. When someone asks you who did you see last what will you say?"

He answered clear, "Uchiha... Itachi."

He left into the village and took the path he was supposed to. He wondered would he love meeting up someone or not.

But decided that it wasn't necessary just see if they are alive. He strolled quietly into the clan residence area.

Senju clan he remembered very well was situated near the Aburame clan residence near Central part of the area.

He moved into the central region and soon was staring at the Senju Clan Compound in face, "For being an abandoned compound you still are in quite a neat and tidy way."

He opened the door and entered and entered into the clan compound. "Now all we have to do is to steal few scrolls I'm in need of."

Security was lax since time immemorial and he didn't want it to tighten till he didn't leave the village.
