I just wanted to say in this journal that I am so so blessed...
I just finished watching America's got talent and the last act the golden buzzer was an 11 year old boy who had been diagnosed with cancer at an incredibly young age and was currently in remission for 4 years from it.. he was bullied in school because of his cancer and he learned how to play the violin at age 7.
This boy went out there and blew the whole audience away with his violin playing. He had the crowd into it as he played "What Doesn't Kill you Makes you Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson.
By the end of it I was in tears just thinking about this little boy who has been through more hell than most people go through in a lifetime. And he was so young to have gone through those things and yet he bounced right back and showed the world his strength.
Simon gave him the golden buzzer...
Things like this just motivate myself to want to become better. To want to become a better person, be more thankful, and showed me that I can do anything with my life that I put my mind to. No obstacles will put me down.
I am so grateful for my life and I feel like we have all been put here for something and everything happens for a reason.
And I am just thankful to have gotten to witness such strength from that 11 year old boy through performing music.
Music is so so so powerful. It's an escape, a medicine, a opportunity, and so so many things. It gives people strength when they feel they have none. It helps people when they feel helpless. It inspires people when they need motivation. Music just is so powerful in my soul and I am so appreciative to have it. Music helps me live my life because it honestly keeps me sane. It gives me my words when I can't speak them. And I love it so much.
Thanks for reading this and I hope music can impact you positively as well <3
